do you in general use Aveda Air Control or Control force Hairspray?

You could say the ends justify the means, lol. Lovely work as always Lana. 🥰

When a person should trim your hair? Every 3 or 6 months?
@keepingitnatural76014 күн бұрын
Out of curiosity, how come you just didn’t get this done professionally? It seemed as though the reason you had to get a lot cut off the last time, was because you let your ends get bad. This tends to happen when you don’t have a professional eye, so don’t cut off what you need and then it just continues to get worse. I personally think you needed not much more cut off, but still more. The same thing will happen the next time you do get a professional cut if you wait too long. Part of retaining healthy hair, is to get them bad ends cut off.

I’ll do another trim soon! I usually do it regularly, but this past year I really fell out of a routine with it! I’m not planning to let me ends get this bad again!
@keepingitnatural760116 сағат бұрын
@@LanaSummer please don’t. Also thank you for showing how much hair growth you have had this year. I also get 6 inches a year and never feel like it’s enough even though I retain length. I guess I’m just greedy.

I had similar hair, long but damaged, and recently cut off 6 inches. It was a process lol I'd trim here and there until I did a bigger chop (4 in). My hair still falls near my belly button when stretched and my ends, most importantly, are healthy. Wishing you well xo

You did a good job with that trim. I'm always nervous when my curly hair influencers go down the hair dye route but you've done well to maintain your hair health!! Looks great!!!

As a Black multiracial woman in the US, I really appreciate you sharing a bit about your experiences with racism in Essex and the absolutely awful reality of that riot outside your door! I'm glad you're safe. Know you have sisters across the pond who share similar anxieties from both the present and past. And still, we keep on and thrive!

I did my hair like this tonight. I can imagine it would be this length if I stop cutting it lol. I’m excited for this length!!! I was so overwhelmed with all my hair until I discovered flexi rods so I guess I’ll stop cutting it
