First you show "the easiest way to install a threaded rivet", so what is the point of the rest of thhe video? Like, why overcomplicate this?

Yeah tool at harbor freight is cheaper than all that crap you used
@PAXPN90
@PAXPN90 8 ай бұрын
Yup! Supplies probably <= $25. The hours that you spent on that personal project you could have put towards billable shop time = $150 needlessly wasted. A harbor freight piece of junk would do a better job and cost you <$40. Credit for trying to hone shop skills though, but I think that time would be better spent on jigs and specialty tools that add function you can't buy in a store.

Why wouldn't you just buy the setting tool and some cutting fluid for that poor drill bit ?

If I bought everything, I wouldn't make videos. Cutting fluid - water or oil.

But such nut crushers already exist. I have one in my kitchen, only smaller, without such a large lever.

Very simple. I can adapt this to double over the edges of sheet metal and get a professional look. Later: I made a 1200mm bender according to this design in about one hour including getting the tools and timber all in one place. I used much lighter timber and a piece of aluminium profile to get a good straight edge. I only want to bend thin galvanized sheet so it doesn't need to be very strong.

I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle kzbin.infoUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

I love this how-to. No uneccessaily long intros. Great camera angles make it easy to follow. Excellent editing keeps the time of the video short without sacrificing info. This is how it should be!!!
