I enjoyed this video a lot, thank you! Just a small reminder though that the USA aren't the home of fly fishing. In fact, fly fishing is older than the US. I'm pretty sure it stems from England 🙂
@RiverRunsThroughJapan8 күн бұрын
As you say, fly fishing originated in the England. However, its history in the US is much older than in Japan, and Mr. Nonaka seems to respect the US as one of the places where fly fishing matured, just like the England.

Wow ! Absolute beautifully done , I like is quote True happiness and joy can be found in the slightly inconvenient and mundane things. In that sense, the true appeal of fly fishing lies in its inconvenience and difficulty. - Kakuhiro Nonaka, Bamboo Fly Rod builder

Thank you for this work of art, I would love to purchase a rod and meet the artist himself. Does he own a shop?
@RiverRunsThroughJapan12 күн бұрын
Mr.Nonaka does not run a shop, and face-to-face rod sales are limited to fly fishing events in Japan. However, if you convey your request to Mr.Nonaka, he will be very happy. There is no doubt that the best way to buy a rod is to meet him, listen to his explanation, and try it out. If you would like to purchase one of his rods right now, please contact the fly fishing pro shop "Tsuruya." www.fly-tsuruya.co.jp/tackle/builder/kakuhiro

“The world today is overflowing with excess.” Yes, yes. This creates a world where we fail to see the glory and the beauty right in front of us. All the tiny details. I am very familiar with the little laugh and smile of a small trout coming to tug the fly and then swimming away, the fish says hi, wake up, bye! Hahaha. Trout are so smart. I could feel the fish in this river and the brooks, imagine them in front of the rocks and boulders, the cool deeper pools rich with oxygenated water. Ah fish, you make us better humans.
