Awesome video game it's been a long time since I've seen it.. I'm 52. I have all original Super Pac-Man and completely restored Class of '81 w 25" monitor. I had to go w LCD no more CRT's the CRT is way better the LCD no pixels you don't want 80's games that sharp. I still love hearing the quarter drop I don't do free play

Never seen this one in the arcade but loved it on the coleco.

We had an Arcade at the mall called "Funway Freeway" and I can still remember the excitement of walking in there and hearing 20 different games going on. Defender always stood out. That subtle heartbeat sound was the perfect compliment to the tearing sound of the shots.

OMG! I use to play this when I was in high school during lunch time! LOL Wow 38 years later I see this again brings back great memories!

Back in the 80s, I worked in a convenience store owned by my best friend's mother, and a random guy walked in off the street, plunked a quarter in our Defender machine and he literally played off that one quarter for over 24 hours. The store wasn't even open 24 hours a day, but the owner kept it open just for him, and had the local TV News station come and film him. The guy's dexterity on those buttons was astonishing. He arrived out of the blue, did his thing, quitting only because of physical fatigue, then he unceremoniously walked out. And I never saw him again. I remember it like it was yesterday.
