Watching "Thunder Alley" again Nov. 10 2024. Love this movie, cast members give a good performance. Roger Wilson has a great voice, sings from his soul and heart. Wish they had made a Part 2. Clancey Brown always plays a good role. Glad that KZbin finally posted to watch. Love the music. ❤❤😊😊

I was there that night!!!!!!! Great show - took a national express bus from Barnsley to London and slept on a floor that night just to see them. I think this was Chris's last gig RIP - he was definitely very emotional towards the end of the gig. I also remember Pete being in front of his kit almost as much as he was behind it! Been following FM since '86 as a 16 year old, been the soundtrack of my entire life - thanks guys, your success is measured in the way your music has meant so much to so many of us !

Did anyone see Roger Wilson in the Porky movies? Thunder Alley was one of the great movies of the 80's.

I remember these guys. Just a little late to the game. By this time, music was already getting less glam or more grungier. Great band though.

First saw this band in Folkestone around 1990 supported by Romeo's Daughter. Both excellent and FM are, sadly, yet another band that should've got way more recognition than they did.

It was a kind of The A-Team and tried to gain its popularity. However, never materialized and remained as a TV movie only.

If this became a series, instead of the end credits doing a fading flash through black, they'd go for the more traditional "flashing the credits over a still/multiple stills from the episode."

They have a plane, with a car in it, that has motorcycles in it. What's next? There are skateboards in the bikes? Will they fly the plane into a submarine? :) This is a god awful movie....for all you crap-movie lovers out there. :)

I love KZbin. There is someone usually cool enough on here to post an awesome 80’s movie when needed and when it is hardly around to be seen anymore. Thank you for posting this! Loved this movie from back in the day!!! Used to watch it during the early days of cable all the time. Taped it on VHS. I watched it again on KZbin after not seeing it for many years and it is even better than I ever remembered. So many great memories. Amazing story, cool music. I wouldn’t exactly recommend this movie to someone in 2022 if they have never seen it or didn’t grow up during this time. I think you had to live it and watch it when it was out in the 80’s to fully appreciate it now. This movie is the ultimate 80’s treat. If you’re not an 80’s kid then you may not get it. Wonderful movie. I think I still have a crush on Jill Schoelen. I loved her in The Stepfather as well as Thunder Alley. The original Stepfather…Another absolute classic but it won’t make sense as a new watcher in 2022 as well. You had to watch that one in the 80’s as well or else you won’t understand why she didn’t just do some Google searches to find out who her psychopathic stepfather really was. But if you saw it in the 80’s…then you have been properly connected to one of the coolest and scariest movies of all time… Sorry to go off subject but that movie is so good. Thunder Alley rules!!!

Love this post, and I think younger generations would actually get the vibe of it, even if they didn’t grow up with it. Hell, I still get Rebel Without a cause, but was definitely not part of that generation:) Love this film for so many reasons, nice locations in Tucson and surrounding areas, the cinematography, Jill Schoelen, and of course the music:)
