@@Zebtheking Technically yes, but I’m saying mobile devices aren’t for every single person. Even if they most likely have access to play them for their smart devices. You’re not wrong whatsoever in that sense. I don’t know if these games were crazily successful in terms of downloads. But mobile isn’t a definitive solution for people’s interests to invest them. There’s nothing wrong with more formats to play these games on either. Literally fans would go ham on these games if they come to traditional TV/PC format. I’m sure they’ll be content if it’s just reimagining cinematic since everyone only cares for the story above all else. Unless they decide to go the extra mile, we’ll eat that too. Then again, not everyone has said console I get that too. But who also doesn’t have internet? Lol If anyone who doesn’t have a gaming device in their lives is somehow interested in those games of all things, they’ll be fine just watching it all on KZbin. :p

I can speak from personal experience of only having a DS and Wii back then so the only times I could actually play KH was CoM and whenever I went to my cousins house and played on his ps2, but I only got a ps5 a few years ago and finally played through all the games. Yes I was content watching it on KZbin before that, but when the mobile game released, you can bet I was playing it every day, without spending a penny, and it was great. I think most people look at accessibility in terms of “gamers” or “hardcore fans” instead of to the majority of the world or “casuals”. It is much easier to get someone who never showed interest in KH to download and try a free game on their phone than to get them to purchase a $500 console and an $80 game, with no guarantee they’ll like it. As a huge fan of the series, I want a remake and console/pc ports too, but I am also someone who appreciates the benefits of gaming from a casual side, playing on the go, and playing for free. Gaming is an expensive hobby, and in my opinion, mobile gaming is the best way to gain people’s attention and interest in a low risk environment

@@Zebtheking Yeah. I understand everything you’re saying. Like I’m not trying to say delisting is particularly a smart idea. Or should be done just in the hopes of having a desirable way to experience them for seasoned, privilege gamers. I would hope for anyone that is willing to give the KH series a shot, they don’t go into the mobiles first expecting to understand the story. I don’t think those games are especially a good representation for new comers to play this series with the kind of game that it is. The accessibility factor is there, but it’s not the greatest way to start if you want to be serious about getting into the series in my opinion. Especially if it resulted in not being interested simply because they had zero other proper way to play it traditionally. I don’t know how many people are like this. People aren’t guarantee to enjoy a mobile game either, even if they can freely play said game. Normally if you’re not a gamer like that, you don’t make the effort to experience them the proper way. But that’s an assumption, not everyone is directly that way. Even now that’s why there’s so many people happy about the recent Steam releases for the series, because it means people who are prime PC players can jump into the series. And they have the proper way to experience the games accordingly. Whereas the mobile titles are more or less sequel spinoff time filler games. It all depends on your own personal preferences, life positions. And how many people you know that are casual like that. I didn’t always have the luxury to play a game I desired to play either. But I’m the kind to wait until I can afford it to play it the way I prefer. Or wait until it’s accessible on a format I own. At least we have more accessibilities than ever before. Especially when it comes to this franchise. And I understand that’s what it ultimately comes down to, to your point. Everyone likes free games if they’re worth extended playtime. Lol I would agree/understand even more if the mobiles played exactly like the mainline games.
