I discovered this cover on Spotify. Sarah and Jeff are amazing, and now I want to find more of their stuff. Wish I'd seen this live!

This is one of my favourite tunes, Natalie, and you certainly do it justice! Buddy would be proud.

I haven't found a single clinker out of all these vids being posted of Sarah. She is fearless, performing wherever and under whatever conditions present themselves. I hope to hear this voice for years to come. She also needs to keep doing covers. People buy in quicker and she does them righteously.

It's known as Ladybourne's hornpipe to most Cape Bretoners.

I can't find sheet music for Lady Bourne's Hornpipe anywhere! I guess I'm going to have to polish off the ol' learning by ear technique ;)

I’ve never heard either of those titles for it, but that’s interesting… it’s clearly a reel built on Pachelbel’s Canon. And as I’m primarily an Irish-influenced fiddler, I’ve only ever heard it called “Pachelbel’s Frolics” (by Eileen Ivers) and “PJ’s Precurious Pachelbel Special” (by John Williams), in reference to PJ Hayes. I believe Natalie is even featured on Eileen’s same album where she recorded this (albeit a different set). Eileen recorded a string quartet, “classical” version and then they transition into the reel version.

Must have seen this video a couple dozen times now. The choice of material is a bit unexpected but Sarah rocks it with total authority. Terrific solos on both her and Jeff's part. Thanks for posting.
