I love Robert Service but a lot of his poetry are jokes. This is a joke and should be read as such.

These dog are easily injured during the race and they get to only live for about 18 months. Stop dog race! It is bad for those lovely creatures!

Those poor animals, I'd love to bring them home to live with me and care for them, keep them warm, nice and quiet nights in, watching movies, playing with them, taking them for walks to play with our relatives pets, and having nice food and bedding, unlike what they've got now which is a disgrace to the world, be ashamed of yourselves, there's more decent animals than there are humans, if there's any racing dogs that they got rid of because they decided they didn't want them anymore, let me know please someone on here, I'd love to give them everything I just said, like this comment if you agree xx

they hurry to put on the "stuff" because the dog is hot in the night and thirsty

these are obviously addicted to rabbits

Most dogs will chase a rabbit, but this breed has keener senses in that area, and of course they are faster. Incredible vision --- they can literally see a hare a mile away and start chasing it.

Is this breed of dog the fastest or are they the only breed willing to run its fastest after the stuffed toy

my staff is trained to run fast and so was his family and he has won against 5 greyhounds trained to run i have literally bred it into my staffy and greyhounds

@hounddogtrev says alot about people who hate hound racing but watch vids to post comments.. right! i own a retired abused racer..as soon as the dogs can't make a profit they are discarded like trash.. this whole indrusrty sucks! glad it's outlawed in the state i live in.

I love greyhounds and greyhound racing. I hate bullfighting but I never watch any videos of it. There are people who hate greyhound racing, it says a lot about them that they seek out racing videos to post negative comments. I do agree with the previous post where it should have said (some) humans are so stupid. If you don't like racing then watch something that you do like and grow up.
