Why we do what we did at Thanksgiving we should forget about the pilgrims. What the pilgrims were doing, they would capture the natives and killed them so everyperson they killed they would celebrate and give praise to God. Years later Sarah Hale write to the president to do away with the pilgrims celebration, but it should be done for a worthwhile cause

I’ve had OBEs, lucid dreams, sleep paralysis (occurring a few times while I was actually awake lying in bed that somehow led to an involuntary OBE), and several after death communications, all occurring after my mother died in September 2003. I’ve seen my mother twice in physical form with the last event in 2019. That event also included my two deceased brothers and Jesus. Here it was apparent that Jesus was using his power (which I clearly felt even before I realized it was him) to control all that was happening. By the way, he doesn’t look like anything depicted on earth to date and it is now one of my goals to change that artistically. Anyone who has seen him by NDE or ADC like me knows that he looks 100% middle eastern with dark features - jet black hair, short curly hair, tan skin, dark brown eyes with long eyelashes , 6’4’or so. He looked Palestinian to me and not at all European. And he actually corrected me about his image. I won’t soon forget that. Nevertheless, people have otherworldly experiences without dying to do so. In my case, I was meditating when this last visit occurred. I plan to write and speak about all that has happened and recently began commenting on public forums like this one. It took me some time to speak about it but I feel the time has come to share what I now know with the world. Since being exposed to Jesus’s spirit form ( a very large bright white light form with a bright yellow center and bits of that yellow intermixed throughout), and to my mother’s spirit which is about 4 feet tall & oval-shaped royal blue light form, I have developed psychic abilities too somehow. I am able to hear them speak to me sometimes, I experience “knowings” about things that have or will occur, I can feel everyone’s emotions like never before, and I know about what this life is about and where we go after we die. I also seem to find things that have meaning as though guided by an invisible compelling force. My brothers’ spirit bodies were also royal blue and the same shape and size as my mother’s light form. It seems we are not all small white orbs. Rather, we have different colored bodies - some being a rose/mauve pinkish color too. The pink colored spirits work with the angels. The royal blue spirits work directly for Jesus in his kingdom. I now know that it is his kingdom there and the earth falls under his dominion as well. I am not religious (just to be clear) but it is true that he reigns supreme and he also wears a robe (as did my mother and brothers). For some reason, I was struck by this realization. I plan on writing about these events at some point too. I actually asked Jesus whether I should say something and he replied by stating, “Many will not believe you but many will believe you and it will help them.” That’s was all I needed to hear… I also asked him why people say that his eyes are blue and green when clearly I can see they are very dark brown. He said that people see the light of the world in his eyes but that what I was seeing was what he looked like when he walked the earth as a man. I understood that to mean two things but I’ll save my understanding about this and more for my writings. Please feel free to ask me any questions. I will tell you everything I now know.

I have designed a plexiglass tetrahedron with Uruguayan amethyst crystal plates fiberglassed to the inside. I incorporated the sacred number 108 inches of volume in its dimensions. Sitting under it with just the top of the head breaking the bottom plane of said meditation tool allows the interdimensional spiral to amplify the vibrational frequency of the amethyst crystals. It creats a deep inner peace & facilitates an easier meditational feedback loop=breaking free from harmful/ addictive thoughts.

Having researched the 19thC working-poor of the UK, I'm less surprised by their grim level of 'everyday' tragedy than I used to be, but I think with emigrants there'd be the added stress of being in a new country far from what they knew; no familiarity to fall back on if/when things went wrong, making the mind even more fragile, susceptible? I love how Lesy, & the later documentary, brought it to life for us, it's fascinating.

What a *bombastic and blasphemous ANTI-American* notion - _"American Royalty"_ Sounds like "someone" didn't take a actual basic/HS-level *US History & Civic* classes _(pre-Commie-corruption of the Edu-sys...- basically pre-90's)_ ... Sickening the Commie-t_rds festering in this once great nation ... And had they ANY true belief in the principles they purport to have - they'd LEAVE! This is an effective short piece - clearly told, and well-produced. I'd love to see Virginia Humanities make more of these, to profile and celebrate grantees. It would be welcome, though, to note the person/people who did the video production work. Like the work profiled here, the audio and video production as well as the editing requires real skill.

Hello, Have you heard of The Fletcher Report 1930 by Muriel E Fletcher. 92 years on it is still completely negatively impacting the lives of the Black and Mixed Race population of Liverpool, and I would say the UK as a whole. This report is only available to read in a high security area of the University of Liverpool’s Library. I went there 10 years ago to read it and it broke my heart, I’ve never been the same since reading the report, It explained the reasons for everything I had experienced since a child till today. The poison that dripped from that report is everywhere.

Excellent tutorial! I’m definitely going to try the crayon as ink. I just ordered a pasta machine and can’t wait to start back up with drypoint. I used to print at Studio23 in RVA until the Lockdown and have missed intaglio presses. My only quibble with the video is the “art-y” filming makes me feel a bit seasick 🤣

Why don’t we just teach American history why must we make everything a race issue enough already
@christianfay5845
@christianfay5845 2 жыл бұрын
American history is nothing but a race issue. The Northern upper class wanted independence because as subjects of George III they weren't able to amass quite as much wealth as they could be if he was out of the equation. But they couldn't manage it without the cooperation of the Southern States, whose plantation owners feared that the burgeoning antislavery movement in England might succeed, which would mean they'd be thoroughly fucked unless they broke off from the crown. I'll save my rant about the wholesale slaughter of Native Americans (,for the crime of not instantly leaving our land the instant we informed them that it was our land) for another time.

As a fan of Ms Hagerty,s book reviews on NPR, I have come to expect a more skeptical and critical approach. There was little of this in the interview. It was more like an interview on the morning talk shows. The author never seems to look at alternate explanations for some of the NDE phenomena. For example with the man who claimed he spoke with the nurse killed in the car accident. When did he first tell this story? You can be sure that the hospital was buzzing with story of the nurses accident. Many times false memories are developed after the fact. Often without conscious awareness.

I researched this. Dr. Bruce Hreyson is actually extremely critical in his research. I read his book and then researched each case he includes. All of them that he includes in the books are additionally verified by doctors or nurses in the experiencers care. Also, he is extremely critical in physiological research into potential causes for the NDE which is why he is often brought in and included into current NDE research at institutions such as the University of Leige in the Netherlands, and the New York Academy of Sciences to name a few. It’s legit.

@@michaeldecarli5243 In a review of Dr. Greysons work, Neuropsychologist Sebastian Dieguez comments that the Dr. Is essentially positing a “Soul of the Gaps” argument for what occurs in near death experiences. What this means, is where there is a gap in scientific understanding , INSERT A SOUL (OR GOD) AS THE MOST PLAUSIBLE EXPLANATION.
@michaeldecarli5243
@michaeldecarli5243 3 жыл бұрын
@@janman55 I know what a soul of the gaps means in science. The problem with Dieguez’s review is he doesn’t have any explanation himself, only a critique… he tosses around a left home sphere/ right hemisphere hypothesis but these are very archaic explanations of NDE’ that have been discussed since the mid 1980’s… Dieguez also wrote a very critical review of Greysons book Irreducible Mind. I found this odd because Irreducible Mind tells you up front that they aren’t providing answers and are just explaining the areas of the kind that aren’t currently explainable by materialistic science… actually there are no materialistic scientific explanations that encompass the full scope of the NDE. I’m not saying this as an avid supporter of a non materialistic approach but the fact of the data is every single hypothesis presented so far hasn’t held up.
@janman55
@janman55 3 жыл бұрын
@@michaeldecarli5243 Thank you for your knowledgeable response. It all boils down to “We don’t yet have an explanation”. Do you not think that Dr. Greyson believes in the soul based on his religious beliefs, and his research is aimed at finding evidence for it? This is how bias is introduced into science, producing skewed results.
@michaeldecarli5243
@michaeldecarli5243 3 жыл бұрын
@@janman55 I am pretty sure preconceived religious notions are not a worry point in Dr. Greysons case. You really should read his actual research papers. He comes from an atheistic background and his research is all from the materialistic mindset. It’s profound because his research kept coming up inconclusive or wrong from various materialistic angles.
