Sounds like Hyundai couldn't replicate the problem. Or can't fix it yet.

Wow this new model is gorgeous. It doesn't have that baleen whale looking hood/grille like the previous gen. Not sure if I can trust Nissan though, since Infiniti is their luxury division

I bought a 24 X5 x40i largely based on your previous review and of course, my own research, and I completely agree with your comments. It strikes a great balance between luxury, performance, and utility. The power train is remarkably refined, yet certainly responsive for a vehicle of this size. I also agree with your airball, as the screen controls for climate are tedious to use, although I'm starting to rely on voice control more which helps. My other big annoyance is the lack of shoulder belt height adjustment for the front passengers. For those of us vertically challenged, the belts become uncomfortable after a long trip. Another is the lack of remote rear seat releases from the tailgate, which is shameless cost cutting for a vehicle at this price point. Otherwise, loving my X5 after 5 months of completely trouble free miles. I'm hoping to beat your predication of average reliability, but we shall see. BTW...great to see your content continue to expand and mature. You guys continue to be all about providing meaningful value to your subscribers.

The back looks stupid. Buy a pilot or grand Highlander. You guys know better. I see countless 10+ year-old pilots and Highlanders out there. Can’t say I see the same about Hyundai.

Two of my coworkers are currently having issues with their Santa Fes. The first SF will need an engine replacement, and the second has had $10K worth of work done to it over the last year, and it still keeps breaking down. The owner doesn't know what to do: keep fixing it, or dump it for whatever they can get for it. The first SF is being fixed because the owner wants to pass it on to their kids as a learner vehicle. I wouldn't touch a Hyundai/Kia product with a 10 foot pole.

Cool but can a change the temperature with winter gloves on? This car is a rippoff. All these companies are trying to put important buttons in the screen so it’s cheaper but they can fail. Not to mention barely works half the time.

So everytime I look in my mirror my car will try and change lanes? That doesn't seem like a good idea
@dan339g
@dan339g 29 минут бұрын
It only works when the drivers assistance feature is turned on, and when on a mapped highway, which are typically divided interstates, but yeah, I was wondering what happens if you casually look in the mirror to view traffic and don't want to change lanes.
@thebeddoctor4273
@thebeddoctor4273 23 минут бұрын
@dan339g hopefully they make you look for like 5 seconds. No just a glance to check traffic. Imagine a car running from the cops. You hear a siren and look in your mirror and the car changes lanes in their path lol. No good

Never ever ever buy a first year vehicle because there will differently be problems and it doesn't matter what brand you buy. The customer is the sacrificial lamb that will test the vehicle in real life. Any kind of dual clutch system used in a non super car will give clunks and vibrations in stop and go traffic. Why this company continues to use this type of transmission is beyond me!

Oldie but goldie. Classic lines, good power, plenty of options, What is not to like? Other than... the price obviously 🤣. With all due respect your storage "donut test" is pointless and may as well skip it. Has no reference point other than promoting your channel's logo. Either do a proper test with a daily object that people can relate to or just state the actual dimensions in order to be useful. Funny how you do a proper cabin noise test but you stick to the donut test. Just sayin'...

@@watchfuleye275 They can stuff whatever they please into that bin it's their channel after all. Wasn't trying to be disrespectful but the consistency of the review is off. I mean you take all the time to give the viewers exterior -interior dimensions, power train, acceleration and an accurate noise test but you put random donuts into a storage that some ppl may consider useful. Doesn't have any sort of order of measurement or gives you any useful insight about the size other than the visuals. I may seem petty but it just got stuck to me. Again you guys can do whatever you please and I wish you all the best. Cheers!
@dan339g
@dan339g 21 минут бұрын
@@axx8326 I see what you're saying, but it is a relative consistent comparison as they are using the same sized donuts for each test. So if vehicle A will hold 8 and vehicle B will hold 10, obviously vehicle B has a larger compartment. Not perfect since we don't know how big the donuts are, but I think more meaningful than the coupons they formerly used. Providing the actual dimensions in addition to the donuts sounds like a good idea.

I was behind one of these in traffic and I couldn’t tell if the person was braking, indicating a lane change, or both! Horrible “feature” if they’re gonna make a fading led turn signal (which is so redundant) at least make it AMBER !! smh

There is a reason why Honda is more expensive. Just wait until you get transmission or engine problems, thats why Hyundai offers more mileage warranty. Honda or Toyota does not need to offer that, they are the 2 most well built reliable cars
