The atmosphere created at that school by Mr Nolan and the other staff at that boarding school is downright dark and miserable. You are thought to fear perusing your ambitions, as your future has been already decided for you. No wonder one of the students ended his life. Mr Keating provides a slimmer of light in all that darkness.

I wish I had a teacher like Mr Keating.

My Dear God - - - I hope that Robin knew in his heart how much he will always be loved

My favorite teacher was my shop teacher, he taught me more about life and being a good person in the few years I knew him than the lot of all the other teachers I had in 12 years. Yes there were a few others who took their job seriously but most came to collect a pay check. Thanks Mr Barbera for showing me that helping others would only increase my ability and foster those with less knowledge and impact them with what little I had to give. I am forever grateful for your time and effort in showing me that I was worth teaching when others saw a lost cause I will never forget that.

I had a philosophy teacher that I know for a fact watched this movie, even tho they never said it.

I had 1 teacher that was in the same Keating caliber. He was the one who helped make high school enjoyable and helped me form my philosophy on life.

It would be so nice if my students had memories of me teaching like Mr. Keating.

I was very lucky and had some wonderful teachers in middle school and high school. Some sucked but enough of the really good ones to make a difference.
