Coming here from your past video 'The problem with our hypersexual society.' I feel like these problems that you discuss on the channel are all connected together, like pieces of puzzles that appear one after another. Our glorification of materialistic things is one of the main reasons for this mess -> I think many mainstream people that have a voice (Influencers, Celebrities, Singers, etc) are all there mainly for fame & money (not all though) therefore will display a certain image in order to go viral. -> Think of examples such as Sabrina Carpenter, she just started to go viral by wearing more revealing clothes, talks about how male figures follow her, and having the barbie look. I am not saying that it is bad, what I am saying that these voices we are hearing arent there to communicate rather for other alternative purposes such as money and fame. About this topic I just want to state another example which is the movie Lolita. Lolita was initially a book that talks about pedophilia and the ugly consequences that comes with it. The author of the book spends many years to tell the story right and request to not present any suggestive image of the little girl because she is the victim and should not be glorified. However, as time progresses and the book become more mainstream and Dolorez Haze (The girl) become more age-ambiguous, more sexual, more alluring and this makes the story popular in all the wrong ways. So, we have this thing happening with the media - and for me,this is one of the main reasons that affect relationships between people in daily life. Sex, having fun = maturity -> many people (at least in my school) don't respect the subjects, and teachers which I think is such a misoppurtunity since could be a great space that is filled with curiosity. -> Difficult to build genuine relationship (because it requires a lot of patience and more than just having fun.) -> Make ppl have these cover-behaviors that make the interaction very fake (At least in my personal pov) (Other notes that is not very related): Sometimes I feel like we are overcomplicating things unnessarily. Every other day I have to yap about insoc, science, English. If we were to drop everything down, then we can see that there are very few but urgent direct problems that we should pay more attention to, Things such as Gaza, war, climate change, food crisis. I am pretty sure we all guiltily swipe pass those Gaza videos on our Instagram feeds. If we were to drop the little things that we use to blind ourselves such as entertainment, money, fame, and addiction and start to work together to fix what can be fixed right now then life is not really a problem to solve after all. The thing about business is that it transform individuals into numbers and whoever get the most numbers win the game. And some of those games are pretty unnecessary to win after all. But I am not saying business is bad though, I genuinely think that it can be use to improve our world it just need to be deeper than just theories on how to manipulate people into buying your product. That is all of my current opinions as a young person living in a globalized society, and I hope ur day is going well 👍

This would be a good video to make. How the fear of critically questioning things keeps people stuck in cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias, causing humans to remain divided even though we probably agree on more than we give ourselves a chance to realize or publicly admit.

It’s almost eerie how you’ve basically said every single word I’ve repeated to people since high school. But listening to you, as I saw myself in woman form lol, helped me to accept…we’re too different. Most people don’t want to think like we do because it’s too scary for their sense of security, not knowing this way of thinking actually sets them free. It’s because we actively refuse to force the truth to fit what we want that we are then capable to align with it accordingly. But that requires letting go in order to gain truth, and I now realize _that_ humility is terrifying to the flesh. It means this whole time I wasn’t speaking to people like I thought…I was speaking to pride. We have to let people come to The Holy Spirit so He can do His work, all we can do is scatter seeds. God bless you!

@@BermudaGrass wow! I truly believe you were meant to find my channel then. I think people are more connected than they think perhaps at times.. with these things. You're right that people would rather believe beautiful lies than ugly truths.. and the Society, Media, and even the Gov you can argue, want people that think outside the box to seem like they are crazy. I bet they would've thrown us in mental asylums back then. Definitely planting seeds, God Bless.

@@ItsSimplyAless That’s exactly what happened to people like us, as far back as biblical times. Those who wish to rule outside of the light do not like to be exposed to truth (secular or not), because it reveals darkness. I do know, too, that there are many areas where people agree…but tribalism (amongst many other things) destroys what could come from it. Nice to know someone is like-minded.

This is the first video I’ve ever seen of yours, but it was definitely something I needed to hear. I was struggling with my faith this past week and prayed for God to care about what I’m going through, and I accidentally found you speaking about how I’m contributing to everything I’m going through. The best thing about it was you unashamedly accrediting it all to eventually being guidance/conviction from The Holy Spirit. So to answer your question, yes, I’d like to see/hear more videos like this!

I am glad you are addressing the problem as it is. Although I am not a person who is living in the U.S.A. I feel like this hyper-sexualized culture has spread towards my own academic environment and the media that I consume in daily life. Although I respected people's choices, I feel like this has set certain expectations on how one should act,wear, and display (primarily relevant to female individuals). I feel like natural personality and visual appearance is so underappreciated and people are constantly putting on a show and expect others to do the same as well. Currently, I don't know how to effectively emphasize the uncomfortable feeling I have about this new and ever-spreading phenomenon. However, I know that this sexualized viewpoint is not normal and should not be encouraged towards young people.

It is evil to force someone into the type of existence that they might hate to exist in and it's extremely abusive to force someone into the type of existence where they will suffer against their will and possibly suffer horribly against their will. Having a kid is like having sex with someone without getting their consent. The parents are like, I don't care if they like it or not I'm going to force them into this extremely unfair and cruel existence anyway. Procreation is the root of all evil.
@chrisbeaumont4630
@chrisbeaumont4630 20 күн бұрын
If you cross the road, you might get horribly injured by a car. If you are helping someone cross the street, make sure you do it as safely as possible, are you evil for doing something that has caused horrible injuries to others? Good parents prepare and do everything in their power to provide their children with the best life possible. Just as it's possible for a negative outcome, what about the people who absolutely love their life, even if they are born disabled or underprivileged? Would you deny a life of happiness due to a chance for others feeling unhappy with their situation, something which is subjective and could change? We even have systems all over the world to help children who were born into the world by unfit parents, and we commit resources and effort to giving them the best life we can provide for them and help their situation. You can't ask any person if they consent to exist before birth. To deny their right to exist just in case they don't consent to life, you are condemning countless others who would love life to never exist. That is very evil to my understanding.
