Hello @exotec , I asked you in a different Video How is the safety managed here? When I see at 1:21 the pod going to the picking station has no safety devices, how can the crushing or shearing risk be reduced here? if no safety sensors are used, the CE marking could be wrong.

Hi @pesoluca The Skypod System is surrounded by a fence allowing the robots to move freely inside while the humans remain safely outside of the perimeter. At the picking station, robot speed is limited allowing the operator to work safely. Safety is a priority at Exotec! We work with relevant third parties to test and certify our system for Europe, UK, Japan and North America. Hello, how can this system work in the legal frame work of the UE? I dont see any safety sensor, bumpers, safety scanner or safe detection on the pods, so the mini vehicle has no safety devices to avoid accidents with operators? even in the pick up stations, the operators are surrouneded by "blue Lidar" from SICK m which is not a safety sensor for human detection. How can this system be CE compliant in Europe? Is any information about safety available somewhere? thanks!

hello, how can these AGVs perform safely? We are studying a system like this, we see a light curtain to protect the access to the robot area. But these small robots look like no safety scanner, which technology are they using? looks like not fullfiling CE marking

None of this "robotics stuff" ever displaced a ton of workers. It just made everything much cheaper and trivial, thus causing even more massive unbound consumption which creates more jobs to make more disposable garbage we never really needed to begin with!
