the other guitar player playing with Joe is Tom Bukovac. One of the best session players in Nashville for the last 15 years. He and the key board player were obviously not in Barnstorm. joe and the other two are original members. He also plays in Vince Gill's band. He got time off from Vince to do this tour with Joe.

This sounds so much like something Pink Floyd would have written. Love this stuff. Grew up on it. We had so much good great music and we still have it today because they are still alive and it has been preserved. I'm still alive listening also and watching.

Saw basically this lineup w/a few changes as "Barnstorm" in snowy Lincoln Nebraska in the fall of '73. I was a frosh in college and we crammed a bunch of my buds into my little '65 Ford Fairlane Coupe and drove the 40 miles ea. way for this. It was the best concert I've EVER SEEN....and like you guys, I've seen a ton of 'em. Man, we got shaked and baked in that little car .....hohohooo, man!

AXS channel (Directv ch 340 not sure about others) runs the whole show once in a while. The appearances are out of sequence compared to the day of the show. I wish the Colorado Music Hall of Fame would have released it on a DVD.

Sorry folks but crap. I want to see "God" play. The other guys are great but.... Clapton defers too much in his dotage, he shouldn't. I know he's got nothing left to prove, but if you saw him in the early 70's when he was still a man on fire. He can still be that man if he feels like it, demand that he feels it and don't slobber at his feet when he strums an E chord.

Joe's amazing but also very cool about sharing the stage and the showmanship with his band-mates... I hate to think of what drove them apart and I wish it hadn't happened. Barnstorm was to JW what Crazy Horse is to NY

Drove 'em apart.....Joe jumped to the Eagles gig. Not a bad career move, eh?
@joe2258911 ай бұрын
Joe once said that he did not want to be the boss and the spotlight guy of a band anymore. Too much weight on his shoulders. So he accepted the offer by the Eagles. They had sung on his 'So What" and Don Felder was in his band after barnstorm.

Chris Daniels and the Kings were the back-up band for this whole concert; Chris had 3 weeks to learn all of these songs; talk about the real heroes not in the spotlight at all; After the concert, even the Denver media failed to acknowledge what Chris and the boys pulled off...Well Kudos to YOU Christopher!! (and all the guys in that amazing backing band)
