Anyone managed to get their roof closed? Same issue on my 2020 XSE. Toyota wants 10-13k to replace the whole roof even though the car is less than 3 years old....

My 2020 XSE Panoramic roof started popping and making noise last week and now will not close or move. Took it to dealership today and was quoted $13k to replace the entire assembly. Under 36 months but over on my KM's so no longer in warranty but hoping for some goodwill from Toyota.

Toyota will try to charge anywhere from $7,000 to $10,000 to do this job👎🏽. I just changed mine for $1,400 took me and a buddy about 6 hours it’s not that hard

If you remove the panel with the sunroof opening button, you will have access to the motor. In the center of this motor there is a hexagonal hole. Using a hex socket and a ratchet, you can turn the motor and move the sunroof in this way as you need.

Hello, I'm Ali from Iraq Baghdad, I have Toyota CAMRY Xse model 2020 broke down and the panoramic roof is no longer working, and no one knows how to fix it. If the slide is opened, it no longer closes and causes the internal curtain to be stopped, he has to cancel the Aviash Al-Salide. The curtain works safely. Thank you for your cooperation 🥂

Watched both video several times since my 2019 XSE V6 sunroof stop working. It would not close yet I was fortunate to get it closed by a Toyota tech at the dealer. The price quoted for the repair was $10,670. I price checked the part searching several Toyota online parts center and the price range between $2,700-$3,800. Capitalism at it's finest lol.

Hello, I have an 18 XSE. My roof sometimes clicks when it opens and then needs help closing or it will open back up around the deflector bases. The first issue I ever had was a rattle from the roof only when fully closed thay started around 80k miles. Wondering if this was the case with this one you're doing. This is the only video I could find on my generation Camry.

@delco driver I just brought my 2021 Toyota Camry in for the exact same reason luckily mines covered under warranty , clicking when opening and closing also get jammed and I have to push it closed . Apparently the sunroof assembly is damaged according to Toyota
