Oliedruk zakt snel terug na stoppen met draaien, (2:06) en dat met koude, dikke olie. Bedenk wat dat wordt bij hete olie. Een fractie kleinere speling op de hoofdlagers van de krukas had mogelijk geweest. Is de speling gemeten, en wat was deze? Verkoperde moeren aanbrengen op het uitlaatspruitstuk vergemakkelijkt het loshalen later. Slijpsporen in het uitlaat spruitstuk van cilinder 1 en 2 naast de moer (15:07) kan later een afgebroken gietijzeren oor betekenen. Vele kilometers gewenst met deze Franse historie.

Wat een interessante techniek aan zo'n ouder ontwerp. Mooi (en kostbaar) gemaakt. Later kozen bijna alle fabrikanten voor splines, die zijn minder afhankelijk van hert aantrekkoppel op de centrale bout. De remstelbouten waren in 1967 ook nog op de B-kadett te vinden...je moest ze vaak bijstellen. De C-kadett had schijven voor, na 1973. Het betere is de vijand van het goede, dat is de definitie van evolutie.

Well..... it was all going so well and then you FAILED to use a torque wrench to achieve the 330NM torque on the nut (as clearly stated in the handbook) when reassembling? Quelle horreur. Simply guessing the torque on such an important aspect of the car is VERY bad practice indeed. Thumbs down on this dreadful example.

Hey, I have a newer model, but the blue light was flashing. Nothing helped. I was just about to have it serviced, but pressing both buttons and plugging it in helped. Thanks a lot!!!

Prima instructie. Goede handvaardigheid is een voorwaarde maar er zijn in de tussentijd zeer betaalbare felsgereedschappen (o.a. van BGS) op de markt verschenen waarmee -ook onder de auto indien nodig- met minder handelingen een kraag kan worden gemaakt die kwalitatief gelijk is aan een fabrieksmatig gevormde kraag. Snel en zeker.

Thanks for uploading this; it is useful, but unfortunately it skips over some important parts of the procedure and I am unable to quite understand what they have done. If anyone knows any links where the whole procedure is done slowly could you please post them here?

Thanks so much for this. I have a Philips perfect care elite steam generator and the power button just kept blinking rapidly and the iron wouldn't work nor could it be turned off. The buttons on mine are different shapes/colours than the one in your video, but holding down the power and eco buttons before switching the wall plug on did the trick! The rightmost light (descale) light came on and then I was able to switch the machine off and then back on. Thanks again!

Hi! I have your same problem, power light (blue) blinks rapidly inmediatly when I connect it. Tried to push power and eco buttons at the same time before connect it but didnt work. Any other solution? Thanks

I had a 1954 Traction Light 15 where the valves made noise no matter how I torqued the head or adjusted the valves. What it was, was that the rocker arms were worn and loose on the rocker shaft. I replaced the shaft and the rockers and it was finally quiet.

If the engine is a "Perfo" engine (with only "11" on the cylinder head, not 11D), the valve clearance is 0,15 for IN and 0,20 for EX.
