I'm still confused on how to splice the brown wire. Do you disconnect the original harness to the transfer case and just shove the new brown wire in next to the original or what? No cutting, no soldering? Thanks for clarifying

If you want to cut out some wind noise check out a "windslayer" on Amazon, it's not perfect but helps a ton.
