I did this walk on Saturday with 6 others. I really enjoyed it. The only difference, was near the beginning, by the falls. We didn't double back as far as you did. We just zig zagged up the scree. My legs have mostly recovered now.

@@TeaInValhalla Hexham survived in part as the locals stood up to the royal army for a year, it has only 1 of 2 remaining staircases left in the UK. Hexham town is nice on the surface, but go behind the buildings and old houses and see the mess. The locals can annoy you too with their ways. Paisley had its battles but battles on with funding issues and church dwindling numbers. Paisley is a very challenging place today to live and visit. Stress, lack of work and possibly poor diets are killing Paisley.

Love your vid! Fascinating! Mi Maternal Grandfather had a well, dug down to watertable! It was pure water! Hit the spot! "Mama," mothers mother, would send me to the wellhouse to get a gallon of water! She was constantly cooking something and often got me to peel potatos, sometime new potatos, and onions and carrots, and celery. If its slow cooker, whole baby potatos, meat and spices, garlic, etc.

If she had them turnips leeks, and corn and beans, I like black eyed peas the best. Soak for 24 hrs. Heat on low overnight! Keep it plenty of water.

When you cook them, fill the pan halfway, enough to cover the peas, put a piece of bacon or some fat. Cook on low for 24 hrs. Keeping plenty of water on them. I add garlic, cilantro, celery salt and a mild form of cayenne pepper. Only a pinch will do!

It's a lovely area with so much variety, and nice and quiet too, I'm a local fell runner and it's my main stomping ground, beautifully shot video, Drum is pronounced Drim and here's a little known fun fact for you, the trig point on Foel Fras isn't on the summit, I don't know why not but the actual summit is 70m away from the trig point, I've tried to find out if it was just a simple mistake but I've never found an answer, the summit of Drum was also a secret experimental radar station in WWII called Blue Joker, that's why there's a really wide and drivable path running down from it all the way to Aber so the army trucks could drive all the way to the summit.
