$32.83 is $81.95 now, depending on location that's either a good deal or overpriced.

The vast amounts of art that Marta Becket created in her opera house looks incredible. What a talent. I hope its still there and will be preserved!

Amazing that all these places still exist (with one having a name change) in 2024. I would never have thought they would all still be here.

Motels. Wow.. My parents were young and use to like to stay at one particular motel in Daytona Beach Florida called Surf and Sand. Or something like that. They liked to stay in nice luxury hotels, but every time we went to Florida on a trip, we spent at least some time at The Sand and Surf in Daytona on the beach. I would LOVE to go back there, for nostalgia, and for memories of my parents who died a month apart in 2015. Then my boyfriend/ soulmate's parents became my second parents. We lived in California, but coincidentally, they lived in Florida! He would never take me to Daytona when we went to visit his parents. Then one day, his mom ( my second mom) died and his dad died two days later. I lost two sets of parents suddenly. I want to go to that motel! :)

I love documentaries like this. They are like a snapshot into the past, and maybe even the people are long gone. Just living simple life before I was born in a totally different world.

I was 12. Remember how good radio, the movies and t.v. used to be? Honestly the only thing I like about the world now are my kids. And even that is a little depressing because my kids will never experience a movie like back to the future, or see an amazing band at a cheap concert. We really were teenagers at one of the best times😅✨🖤✨
