I remember most of the early games on this video. I also remember the bus ride to town, going to a shop, choosing a game with the most exciting cover and reading it on my way home. Then waiting for it to load. The whole adventure from leaving home to playing my new game could be two hours! Thanks for this, it bought back good memories of a much slower time.

Ooohhh... Pitstop II. Anyone else remember the blisters on your thumb/forefinger from holding the joystick in the forward position for entire races?

help wanted: i'm searching for a game titel (i think it was for the c64). the game was a big riddle with the chance to win a chest. the player had to find clues all around the world and all around different time periods. so there was stone age, medieval and some more i think. and the winner of that price was a young british boy......hope, someone can help me.....tnx

Probabilmente la console più divertente di tutti i tempi. Altro che le mille console di oggi con effetti e grafica supermegawow

I just fired up my c64 last night for some retro fun. I can't believe all my games on my floppy disks still work. Pogo joe was a really cool qbert clone. The qbert along with alot of arcade ports were really good on the c64. Great machine for it's time.

Impressive to see how games developed overtime from when independent bedroom programmers started working as part of a team with other members working specifically on other areas of the game I.e. Graphics and Sound. Before this, the game concepts were still impressive, but you could tell if the programmer sped through the music or design because they only had a basic inclination to want to develop further in the areas. The C64 remains a machine that challenges developers to squeeze everything they can out the 64k limit of resources available, and its great to see that there is still a very active development scene still going on today, it’s clear to see that people want to push the computer further and further 👍
