@MrFixitBassNM, I am completing this install now and am running into the space issue you describe. Were you able to successfully get the turbo/manifold installed. If so, can you please let me know how you accomplished the task? I am struggling on day 2 of trying to put it back in. I think I will void the manufacturers warranty if I separate into two parts.

@@jlewismcse. Well, guess what? Ours went out and it turned out to be a problem with the wastegate so we were thrilled to have to do it all over again. Only good thing was that Autozone warranteed it without a problem. Back to your question. Yes we tried to drop it in in one piece but it just wouldn’t go. So we had to separate it and just as it gets past the exhaust section you put it back together and tighten that ring. It has a pin so you can’t go wrong with it. Once we joined it together it wasn’t too bad after that.

@@jlewismcse. Don’t think it will affect your warranty cuz we separated ours and they still made it good. It did take both me and my son to drop it down in two pieces and he held the exhaust piece while I held the turbo and I put it in place with that pin and put that collar and tightened. Can’t do it by yourself.
