Thank you so much for breaking your topics down. I am taking online graduate classes to become a nurse practitioner. It is challenging to learn a topic when no one is willing to simplify medications for you to learn for your future practice. Thank you so much!!!

Doing some refreshers because I've mostly been working with gestational and pediatrics (for which most of these non-insulin drugs are contraindicated.) These videos have been a super helpful refresher on meds! Thank you!

Hello Kim, Im writing from my private account and I hope this message finds you well. We're currently preparing to launch our successful offline insulin therapy online and are actively seeking long-term partnerships for advertisement and branding. I'm reaching out to explore potential collaborations with you. If you're open to such collaborations, would you be willing to share details such as your media kit and rates? I'm keen to discuss potential partnerships and look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Stefan Gesler

Hey Doc, love you your show so I decided to take Januvia based on your recommendations. It’s been 11 days and my blood sugars haven’t really moved a lot. They’re coming down a little bit. How long do you think it takes for to really really work and my other question is, do you think taking Januvia with glipizide ER would be a very potent and powerful combination to really get my blood sugars down from fast 200 to get them down to normal. What are your thoughts?

Dear Ms. Kim, thank you for such a great video and truly giving some legitimate, plainspoken, non-jargon filled presentation that every dang provider should be trying match up to! As an NP, may I ask what your area of specialization from an education point is (FNP, Adult-Geriatric, PMHNP etc.)? I just got prescribed Januvia today and this was such a treat to watch. Also, unrelated, as an NP in general what are your thoughts on the push for the DNP in a lot of areas to become the terminal/mandatory educational standard for practice? I only ask b/c as a former LPN student and with a bunch of friends who are ASN-RN's but still take the same NCLEX as BSN prepared nurses, it seems to me like a lot of degree inflation because I've seen the BSN curriculum vs the ASN curriculum and there is no additional training of any value whatsoever. As a former PA student, I saw the push from certificate to associates to bachelor's to now a mandatory masters and a huge push for PAs to get a "Doctor of Health Science (DHSc)" which also adds absolutely nothing but more people getting called doctor who didn''t go to medical school and want to be called Doctor. I didn't finish PA school due to health issues but the attitude of the PA instructional staff in my program was extremely us vs. them. Any feelings on this? Sorry for the long post and thanks again!

I truly doubt that she is African American if her people have been in America for centuries. White folks were moving millions of bodies from Africa. They brought their own people here and met us. We taught them how to be "American".

Here what you don't get the world is bigger than us and our experience african american doesn't say descendant of slave trade it say you from Africa how ever you want to redefine it. Elon musk is a african american it doesn't tell you anything about race or culture just two continents put together to erase your identity so they don't have give you the true statistics about your people every other ethnic group in america has statistics on labor employment etc. African american do not. That category include all black people. Your experience clouded your judgment and you gotta do more to learn about your people because no stat you can find has anything to do with descendants of slaves.

The phrase “the black community” is the phrase started by black Americans for black Americans. It is not inclusive of foreign Black people. Why would black Americans consider foreign Black people a part of their community when they are oceans away?
@LadyOO

Black is short for black American, because black Americans are the only black ethnicity with black in their ethnic title. Nobody calls, Ashanti people “black Ashanti’s” nobody calls Yoruba people “Black Yoruba’s”.

People all over are still Black.. Africans are Black, Jamaicans are Black, Afro Brazilians are Black and etc.. If someone from Nigeria comes from Africa to America they’re still Black.. So no, we aren’t exclusively the only Black people. Black is just a race, ethnicity wise we are African American and Nationally we are American. Learn the difference between race, nationality and ethnicity, because we sure as hell ain’t ethnically Black, how tf can you be ethnically Black when that’s just your race? Lol
