Very nicely done Drew! It's a great piece by Pietro Yon and a wonderful arrangement - better than the one I played on euphonium two years ago. @@azjc6352, I’d say mostly true. There are subtleties, and I’d say most of those have to do with how hard a player has to work with a given instrument. These Packer trumpets are hotter than my Bach, so I either have to roll with that or work harder to warm it up. All in all, this instrument plays about 95% as well as my Bach 43, but costs about 25% as much.

While I occasionally do impressive things, most of my time is given to producing new arrangements (and less commonly, compositions). Algirdas, my business partner is more impressive with the flashy stuff. But for what it is worth, I try to do simple things with as much perfection as possible. Thanks for noticing!

@@glennmorimoto6604, definitely sometimes! But for me, it’s much easier to sight-read a pretty piece than to slog through a tune with a million notes. The musical part comes pretty easy to me. The technique requires practice I don’t have time to do, haha.

Lovely. I've enjoyed your playing and arrangements for a long time. It is sneaky though. It seems that, so as not to scare away the horn player who might play this piece, that the 32bpm was meant to mask how long those whole notes were going to last... :)
