I’d be far more impressed if you were able to get 500 hp and 425 ft lbs of torque out of a 302.

that makes no sense what you said. 500hp on a 302 would be on race fuel . that 632 motor in the dyno is a pump gas daily driver motor. did ya notice the cam size is only a 680 lift and this engine is making 920 hp and most likely very docile to drive on the street

@ no, it would be a 2024 dark horse. Anyone can build big cu inches. It takes a bit more skill to get big numbers from a smaller motor.

@ not sure what your saying. but 500hp 302 motor is nothing that special especially in low to mid range torque. the 632 would rip it apart at about 2500 rpm while the 302 was at it's max torque rpm.

Went with the 427 as we race circle track and wear them out fairly quick so will be 434 in a couple years 😂, And they’re dished pistons so about 10.5-1 compression
