We are still suffering with policies the tories put in place. Labour may not be great but they are SO MUCH BETTER. Reforms just horrific. How's nigel farage doing? Still trying to take away women's rights?

@ I don’t like to focus on individual figure heads. Pointing out flaws in the character of party leaders doesn’t really sway my opinion much. Relative to the amount of time they’ve actually been in control of the country, I think they’re doing worse, at least pertaining to what I care about principally. I don’t really have much of an opinion on Farage. I guess he seems kind of dodgy.

They are chosen by their party to represent their party m, therefore they should be pointed out. Conservatives fucked up the country every year they were in power, mainly brexit and poor management during COVID, and yet you won't give time for labour to actually do good, which they already have done. And the fact nigel farage only "seems kinda dodgy" to you says everything. He's racist, sexist, xenophobic garbage that's insistent on taking away human rights

@@neonstudios2005 I pointed out a thing that Starmer did which relates to Labour’s policy. I didn’t meant for it to sound like some kind of character attack, that’s just what happened. He held a meeting with some black rock executives if I recall. Obviously individuals *are* important, I didn’t deny that. I was speaking more subjectively with regards to what sways my opinion politically. I think arguments that are essentially character assassinations are generally less convincing politically than those that go in-depth on policy. Most of what I know about Nigel comes from other people’s mouths. I haven’t looked into him enough to fully make sense of the countless accusations levied his way from people the other side of the political compass. I don’t really know what to say, it’s just how it is.

@Pinemeedle I like to believe (speaking as if I didn't make this 💀💀) it was both a punishment and protection. More detail is that she was forbidden to practise magic as her father saw it as dangerous so Instead of seeing that this happened because she wasn't able to have a safe environment to learn, her father saw this as conformation of his own biases so he seals away her magic as both protection and punishment, as now she doesn't even have the smallest choice to try. And her mother is only sealed in 1 mirror. If the mirror breaks in any way, she is lost forever
