I have a red and white XTZ. It’s my reliable go to bike. However, it has a kind of acceleration hole between 1900 and 2200 rpm. It’s as if the bike “knocks” around that regime. All the rest is super smooth. Any suggestions on how to eliminate that knocking hole? Ignition retard? Carburetor modification? Thanks

Hello. Could i have links to cluster parts? I have similiar bike xrv750 Africa Twin from 1995 and im bored with original cluster, becouse it just doesnt work at winter and im driving thru all 4 seasons. Ive been looking custom clusters but none have give any "wohoo" effect for me yet😂. Nice video anyways. 👍

Start with an 850 or TDM 900 Engine, then you will see how this makes it different... I have the 850 engine inside and all is stock, still makes lot of fun..

Slip in the Baker 6 speed overdrive gear set and use Buell thunderstorm top end, you’ll have a serious African twin killer.

@@johnwirk I think you need to check some Buell dyno sheets. You would be surprised. A stock Buell Cyclone M2 puts down those numbers.

At your local metalworkers. Go get it made, throw a layer of Por15 inside, polish the outside and you’re good to go

Any bike which has its suspension completely replaced with properly sorted Öhlins is essentially a different bike to the original.

Does that cater to tall riders only? The bike looks tall. Just wondering what the seat height is since the suspension is higher and the wheels increased in size diameter.

I don't know exactly the seat height. But, with 21/18 wheels and higher suspension i think it around 900mm - 950mm, suitable for 180cm riders.
