i think we can hold ourselves to standards that are hard to obtain. there a saying i learned we are worst jailors and biggest critics. i know i know its hard but somtimes i think we should trying give ourselves a brake when things go wrong and lean from the mistake.

My Grandson likes to watch VHS and he will stop and rewind to watch a certain episode over and over, he’s 13, then he laughs. Such a sweet boy.❤

Non humans are the only real true friends I have. I will share water with a big so called scary spider and think nothing of it. I come home with insects on me that I found around a shopping center people were freaking out about and it never occured to me to be strange but humans think it is not normal and I want nothing to do with those humans.

I had nightmares from the age of 6 years old, until 12. Averaged about 3 per week. Might call them night terrors. At 6, at the sitter's - I had unwillingly seen an old black and white horror movie. 'The beast with 5 fingers.' (I wanted to watch 'Mr. Rogers.') I had nightmares about that hand coming at me and trying to strangle me. I had to teach myself dream control/lucid dreaming. Before sleeping, I had to have the thought that I had a tv remote control with me in my dreams. I had to pre-plan what new dream 'channel' I would change the dream to, when it went to the bad dream. I had to understand, whenever I was having the bad dream, that it was a dream and that I had the ability to control it by changing the channel with an imaginary remote control. I had to do that for decades. There was a price. It has been rare for me to remember having dreams/having spontanious dreams. Then again, that may be due to not sleeping well and getting good solid sleep. People really need to use caution in what the allow children to be exposed to. For most, those things may not be an issue; but for some, it is.

Well done video. You are amazing. Our 12 year old grandson will do the same thing sometimes - like freeze and just stare as when the confetti was tossed at you by that other boy. I hope someday he will be able to express himself as well as you. He doesn’t use many words, but I know he understands so much.

My grandson is going through that now. I can understand what he wants by the way he takes my hand and points it toward what he wants. We are working on the yes and no by moving my head up and down for yes. Side ways for no. Thank you for sharing with us. I truly appreciate you.

Thank you for sharing. My daughter is 28 and is just now accepting her autism. It was always like a imperfection to her, like wearing glasses. She use to hate wearing her glasses, it was like "hey look at me I have bad, imperfect eyes" She is better accepting of her autism and her glasses now, but it took some time. I will tell her about your video and superpowers!

I’m grateful that you take the time to be so open and honest about your experiences. There are people with autism with higher support needs who can’t express themselves the way that you do, and it helps a lot to try to put myself in their shoes. I would love to see a video where you elaborate on how you manage sensory sensitivities.

People can be so nasty and rude. My son is autistic and it seems the only way people understand some of the behaviors is to let them know. We don't give up. We educate and try to make a place more welcoming for our son because some people are so mean.

@TylerMcNamerАй бұрын
The one feature I did involving animation on my personal channel is called Overture. It’s a mix of what’s always been animated by professionals and a few moments animated by me. It’s a prologue to this film project I wrote and wanted to animate. Still a work in progress. I can see why there are multiple animators working on one film. I’m no pro, but it still is fun and satisfying to see characters come alive.

Thank you for sharing. I hope my grandson finds a way that he can use to communicate. He's six years old. His therapist has given him a tablet to communicate, but he won't use it. I've tried words on cards, but he won't try it either. We will keep trying at his pace. I just know he will choose a way someday to communicate. I've got faith in him. He's very smart.
