When I was a kid, I didn't realise that he was meant to be a younger version of Arthur Daly from the popular TV series "Minder". A sort of fixer/low level wiseguy.

Funny how Red Rackham's Treasure is longer than this version of The Secret of the Unicorn. I love the following series.

This is so new to me. I love seeing the originally narrations as the original 4 minute episodes are beginning to end. The belvision episodes are still full of mistakes as just anybody can see. But I still love it just as much as I did when I was 16, and thought of coming up with my own novel fictitious chap called Cuthbert who was similar to TINTIN and quite a lot like my mate Joe.

I still own the whole manga collection, whose plot is often quite different from the OAV and maybe less... naive too. 😸 Those days I was 19/20 or so. My husband was still alive. I used to tell him he was as beautiful as Mr Yoh and looked like him, even if his eyes were pale blue-grey, not pale brown. He used to laugh and answer I was a sweet crazy child with lots of imagination, but I think he was pleased.
