And that is why you simply DON'T race these old pieces of crap. They are interesting from the historical standpoint etc. But that's it. NO racing, unless you REALLY want to die. And to "race" them with 50% effort would be even more ridiculous because the danger would still be there but no joy from driving at the limit.

IMHO there is no reason to have a race with these old cars which aren't safe at all. That's why humanity developed newer and safer cars... to minimize risks and avoid such stupid accidents from the beginning of the motorsports era...
