@@adkgj1098 No, the nuts have blue rubber, which means they are self-locking.

@@majkel7118 thanks for the quick reply! I actually ordered these for my 2018 r6 and they have similar hardware except the nut isn't lined blue. In that case would you reccomend use blue loctite?

@@illuminati9751 My bike already had the original screws in the back when I bought it. The only thing missing were the footrests. See if yours has them too. if not, use Allen screws.

Awesome video! Where did you buy the gear indicator? I'd love to get one with the right connectors. Also does your clock always flash 1:00? I just bought an 01 929RR and I can't figure out the flashing 1:00 clock.

@@coleerickon66 1:00 is flashing because I disconnected the battery. Just set the time and it will stop flashing. I bought the gear indicator from eBay.

Thanks bro, done it the same way just now and it seemed to have fixed it, I've shook the connector really hard to see if it's acting up at all and it seems to be fine. Tried a few times before and the problem always came back one way or another, but feeling confident it's better now. So close to cutting the wires and making another harness just for that one stupid cable lmao. I've used WD40 and let it soak for a bit before getting all the grime off seemed to have made all the difference. Cheers bro and ride safe, had a long ride back from Newcastle and it started raining at night as well and I was dreading the headlights going off in the middle of bumfuck nowhere haha.

Great video. However, at least 3 of the removed spark plugs looks to have (engine) oil on them. Clearly visible above the thread. Normally I thought this was a clear indicator of engine problems that need urgent attention. Although, non have commented about this? Did you continue to ride the bike without problems. I have similar problem on two plugs on 954 and fear I need to rip the top open to assess root cause.

@@Jaktkit As you can see I changed the spark plugs 4 years ago. And there was no problem. The engine runs like gold.

@@majkel7118 I know this was long time ago that is why I asked, thinking any serious issues would have materialized by now. I hesitate on how to proceed. I was troubleshooting cylinder 3 on my 954 since it runs much cooler than the other cylinders. When pulling the plugs I found fresh oil like on yours on plug 1 & 2. Search on "Oil on spark plug threads" all indicated that it´s deep down engine stuff (leaking head cover gasket, worn out valve guides or worn out piston/rings etc). Now I am considering if I should just wipe the (supposedly 2 year old plugs) clean the fuel in injectors and put it all together or roll up the arms and rip open the engine top to seek the oil leak. Since I have only owned it one year I lack track-record and need to proceed with caution. Compression test tomorrow hopefully will give some guidance on how to proceed.

@@famyrahmat5646 I didn't feel much difference after changing the front cables. Once when I changed the rear cable then the difference was very noticeable. Maybe my front brakes were excellent on the old cables. I think that when going to the race track it would be necessary and noticeable.

@@itz_metriq The grey ones been already there when I bought the bike. Try with washing up liquid if doesn’t help then just cut. Any way you don’t need the old OEM ones anymore.
