Hello! I will be creating a presentation on teaching Argumentative essays to middle school students, and I would like to borrow this idea. I want to tweak it and streamline it using the terminology we use at our district, but I wanted to reach out about citing you and permissions. Thank you!

Is anyone developing a tool to automate argument mapping? The maps are easy to understand, but difficult to make.

The small town I'm from in the middle of nowhere, Facebook groups are great for allowing people to stay in touch. There are drawbacks as well, for example folks can get needlessly nasty from a local politics standpoint.

Wet doesn’t naturally occur. Wet is an adjective developed within the human mind as a convenience to describe some that has water on it. Something can’t be naturally wet because without humans the describing word “wet” would not exist. And Without the human logic or convenience of that word. Water isn’t wet. So to every other species water doesn’t exist and so doesn’t the term “wet.” So every other species of animal, alien life form, anything other than human disagree with you’re logic. In conclusion the thing we all know as water isn’t naturally wet. In addition to my conclusion, without the human brain the concept or study of water, and even water itself doesn’t exist. Wet isn’t naturally occurring therefore water can’t be wet unless you manipulate the physics. Even then me saying that implies I believe water isn’t wet. Which, then again proves my entire argument.

By design, any “Critical Theory,” (CT) purposefully instills psychopathology. To be a CT, by definition, demands from its followers: activism. They must hold to the idea that “all systems,” all “whatever’s” are broken and need to be dismantled, destroyed. Most of “The Woke,” are not aware of, Horkheimer, Adorno, Marcus, who derived Critical Theory as derivative from Carl Marx‘s original ideas. These authors were shocked that the communist revolutions Marx predicted were not happening. The conclusion: Culture. Culture held people together more than race, class, or gender. But the brilliant essence, central to the theory, the great gotcha, of “Critical Theory,” is that it does not seek to address or remedy problems, as problems cannot be solved without tearing it all down. Thus, we see constant, unfixable, and unsolvable, criticism all the time. This will break even the most durable of human tolerance, and eventually violence will result. Destruction and division is the goal. Once the pathology is created, it is on autopilot. The god of critical theory is the narcissistic victim, and the devil is any system in which that victim resides. Most, if not all, “Woke,” adherents simply could not face a world where they are not victims.

the states bills do not ban critical race theory... they ban discrimination based on color or gender or immutable characteristics.... basically, judging people on group identity instead of their individual character or merit. in practice, especially in the vulgarized practices by kendi or crenhsaw are the worst marxism and nazism combined.

@@suezcontours6653 the playing field was made level nearly 70 years ago through the 14th amendment and the civil rights law. this finally removed all the prior democrat supported jim crow laws and provides full equality of the law irregardless of race or gender.

@@johnnywise9478 lol... equity by definition separates based on immutable characteristics of race or sex. it requires racism, bigotry, and discrimination to exist. no different than nazi or kkk.

I think you are kind of taking Center Right position. You are definitely representing some kind of Centrist's Views on CRT. Also the arguments are changing. At the beginning the Left would say that nobody is teaching CRT in Schools, but the argument have shifted to "It's about history". And now I see arguments that anti-CRT are just Nazis. I am kind of anti-CRT. But it's not even about CRT for me. I am arguing against Critical Theory in general. I am blaming CRT for the fall of standards. If you are interested, here are 3 videos I think describe CRT well: 1. "Ryan Chapman" has a good review of the popular CRT books. 2. "Millenial Gentlemen" has an interesting historical take on CRT: "The True Origins of Critical Race Theory & Anti-Racism Training" 3. KZbin "documentary" from "Progressives Today": "White Privilege Conference 2014". * 4. Also a kind of funny old video on Debate Association (CEDA) from "Internet Aristocrat": "Ever Forward Towards Oblivion - CEDA & The Death of Standards". Good luck with the project. I hope you do well.

I'm sorry, this is all bullshit. their is no such thing as "critical race theory" its seems like a title you all created to justify hiding the truth. Teach all the children, all the truth, all the time. Anything else is bullshit.
@Gili03 жыл бұрын
You should work on your argumentation because you failed to provide any premises supporting your claims.
@jpvoodoo55223 жыл бұрын
I would think twice about making the claim that CRT doesn't exist. That is an objectively false statement. If you are in favor of CRT just say so.
@ragnampizadread90373 жыл бұрын
@@jpvoodoo5522 Yes your right, if you accept that bullshit exists, Then bullshit exists. What is CRT? according to those who are for it, it is the black history that has never been taught. By giving it a separate title you have already differentiated it from all other history. And there we come back around to the bull shit. So I say again, teach all the children, all the truth, all the time.
