I have been locked for 4 months and have a ton of bunching. I hear different thinks. My hair is not locked on the ends. Is it ok to wet the lock to try this technique even though I'm still basically in starter locs?

I combed out one of mine last night just to see something and it took 1 whole hour 😭😭😭 by that time frame it will take me 71 hours to undo my locs BUT i didnt soak them and i didnt use the aussie moist so i will see if that makes a difference. Thank you 🩵

Hey, I know my comment is 4 years after u made the video but can the dents and bumps be fixed. My locs are 9 months and I believe both me and my loc both have been inconsistent in the direction of the retwists. There are dents and in bumps all the way down. They look ok ish with a fresh retwist done w a comb from afar but any other state of the hair like after a wash or self done retwist or up close u can see dents and bumps, I don't believe now that it's bunching 😢

Normally I would wait until it's time for my retwist so the lady that does my hair to do it, because I like for her to use her products and the steam that she put to my hair, I don't know what good products to use, so I like for the lady to do it, any chance you can tell me what i should use for thin hair, my locs looks good, just wish it was a little more thicker, like yours.

Thanks for the great information, I have been growing my Locs now for 3 years, I use to get them done between 4-6 weeks, now I will go between 8-12 weeks, sometimes just a little bit longer, only because my hair is already thin, and I notice since I started my Loc journey, I have notice that getting them done to soon has been not helping me to keep them as healthy, so I'm still not sure what to do between my retwist, silk scarf doesn't stay on at night, product's that I used not sure if it's right to use, I have tried lit bit too many product's, I don't know what to use on my locs anymore, please help if you can, what you think I should try, what kind of product that you suggest, moisturizer, oil and conditioner, between my retwist, that I can try.
