I remember the 480 with the special matt paint that Corine talks about. I think she drove it as her company car for a while. Not sure what happened to that car later. It was for sure very innovative. WAAAY before the likes of Mansory, BMW and AMG were offering the matt paints to customers.

Saw Matt last night. Good show, but a little annoying. No filming or pics. I get it to a degree. But he rarely tours over here. He makes you sit through his new album in its entirety. Unfortunately I don't think it's his best work....I like maybe three songs. Then after the intermission, he's says we are allowed to stand. Sit monkey! Stand monkey! This was the kind of thing I always thought his songs were against. Also, be prepared to see a lot of his butt and back, because he played a lot with his back to the audience. I don't live in the past and we all mature. But you can still have some of the ethos remain.
@shugacookie45Ай бұрын
I have lost count of how many live shows I've seen over the years, easily upper hundreds, and cant remember a band policing the audience like that. Sounds like a bad experience. Sad.
@privatemale2147Ай бұрын
@@shugacookie45 Honestly, I feel that the degree things like this get policed is at the direction of the artist. Matt seems to be very controlling of a lot of things. I saw The Pretenders, and Chrissie Hynde was getting huffy about cell phones. Sorry, but she is a female Icon. Who is not going to want to get a song or pic of her? But at that venue they'd never really be able to police all the phones.

@@privatemale2147 I thought it was utterly refreshing and thoroughly enjoyed not having some idiot in front of me filming the show, all bands should do it.

I’m glad there is this recording, is very hard for me to concentrate and having a video helps, I’ve never saw them live before, so I was very happy I was able too, but I agree, seating half of the show to hear a new album was weird for me,
@mrlewz0r16 күн бұрын
Oh no, you can't record a 5 minute video that you're never going to re-watch. How horrid. Snap out of it, you don't actually need that shit. Enjoy the moment.

Nice!! I first saw her together with John Parish around 1996 at a venue on the Tottenham Court Road that lasted for about 5 minutes! I have been lucky and seen her since at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Paris and 20 years ago at the Werchter Festival in Belgium. As you said Jason - she's an absolute star. I was very lucky to find out about the Abbotsbury gig. It was a magical evening!
