Yo I remember when I first beat the game I was expecting crash to save crunch from cortex but instead I got this ending not know in this is the any % ending and found out I had to replay levels to get gems for the true ending I shelved the game and pretended that I beat it.

This boss gives me trouble when I was a kid. I can never beat this boss because the last hit on him I get hit by the flaming rocks and touching it in your mech will restart the battle which is annoying.

Funny story: I played Crash 1 first but I missed playing the rest of the PS1 games (I was more into Spyro at the time) so I didn't know any of the characters beyond the cast of the first game so when I played this game this was all new to me so aside from Crash, Cortex and Aku Aku I didn't know who any of the other characters were. Not helped by that the copy I was given (must have been second hand) didn't have a manual so I didn't get to see all the little bits about the characters. When I first saw N.Gin and having no idea who he was or the whole story about the missile in his head I thought at first he was some very strangely built android with half his endoskeleton exposed and the missile was just some random thing used to build and put him together. It wasn't until much later I found out about that he's a cyborg and that missile is the result of an accident. OW!
