Phil Collen is an awful shredder. He's really a song writer. He can play but his talents lay in song creating rather than virtuoso playing.

Used to go to this restaurant in Crows Nest in Sydney, Australia in the early 80's.... The live entertainment on Fridays was Tom and Phil Emanuel..... Their party trick was to both play on one guitar at the same time... I thought Phil was the better guitarist, to be honest 😲

Saw these three back in 88 at a bowling alley called the Ranch Bowl in Omaha NE. Stuart Hamm played the Charlie Brown theme on bass. Joe had long hair. Maybe a hundred people are in attendance. Brilliant show.
