Case's quality and quality control has gone to crap over the last decade or so. My main complaint is the horrible grinds and the fact that it looks like a 5 year old does the initial grind on a 60 grit wheel and stops there and calls it good. I have a couple of Cases that I bought back in the 1980s that actually had even grinds and the edges almost looked polished right out of the box, so they were finishing the blades on some pretty fine stones or wheels. I have one that is about 4 years old that the grind was so uneven that it was almost non existent on one side. I only sharpen that side of the blade, figuring eventually the edge will be pretty much centered on the blade.

I like that fixed blade.

My pap would laugh knowing I carry mine in little leather slips! Dang man making me feel old! That sucker was made plenty after I graduated high school!

I will try to carry a 79 Case 2 bladed model 75 for 2 months, but in a slip! It has a nice patina already!

I'm a big fan of that yellow stockman... It's very reminiscent of a Tony Bose Sowbelly. That clip blade is a beauty.

I dont have a carbon steel stockman I am a single or double blade guy. I did a one month carry but not a stockman. I always carry a bigger knife
