I was at this concert and recorded a couple of videos but they weren't this good of quality. Thank you so much for uploading this, now I can relive one of the best concerts I've been to! Thank you so much!

@@alanmcmlxvi that’s so awesome to hear. It’s the whole reason I’m doing this. So some can participate who couldn’t make it and for those who did we can jam to it again and again ✌️

Thanks for the video and info about Robbie's son. Do you know if Kenny Aronoff is the drummer? I was lucky to see The Doors when I did, it was their next to last live performance in Dec 1970.

@@DAGDRUM53 Thanks for watching. I believe that is the one and only Kenny Aronoff on drums. That is soooo awesome to hear you made it to a Doors concert. Was that in Dallas? ✌️

@@gregelam6926 Looking at your channel you've been to a lot of Robbie's concerts recently, I even see a 2022 show where Kenny's on drums then! I guess I'm not surprised, I've seen him work with everyone else. Wish Densmore & Krieger could see eye to eye but I like what I've heard of Robbie's band. At their recent Whisky A Go Go show (almost 2 and a half hours) I couldn't help but notice the absence of Moonlight Drive and Soul Kitchen. Have you seen them play those songs recently live? My live Doors experience was indeed in Dallas, there's more than one audio recording accompanied with photos of the first and second shows on yt but my guess is you already know. I saw the early show, I knew some school friends that hid in a bathroom during the changeover and said the second one was better. The tapes do not bear that out, plus the second show was shorter. At that time The Doors had a reputation of Morrison being drunk, I guess with a prison sentence hanging over his head that's not surprising. John Densmore had a weird triangle of bongos attached to his rack tom (to this day I think looked stupid). When a spotlight shone down on Manzarek as he played a solo my girlfirend whispered, "He's got too much creme rinse in his hair." Short-haired me thought his hair looked cool, but it was shiny. Robbie's stage presence was subdued with more guitar in the mix. Morrison wore the dark hoodie seen in countless photos, full beard, his trousers weren't shiny black leather and when he wasn't singing he sat on the drum riser and drank three cans of PBR by my count. He sang well and the audience heard LA Woman and Riders on the Storm four months before they were released. Had I not been on a date I'd've hidden in that bathroom too and checked out the second show. Live and learn.
