Hi, I want to initiate a video call on any extension by pressing a button from node red dashboard. is it possible?
@SamMachin Жыл бұрын
Not with this package, there are a couple of other Node-RED asterisk packages for AMI that might support it. TBH I've pretty much given up with Asterisk now.

Correction/clarification: 23:57 - Zoom's stock price was worth more than the top 7 airlines combined, but not on a market capitalization basis. Market cap would have been a more realistic comparison since the stock price is a meaningless unit for an absolute comparison (but the relative change isn't). I was misleading on that.

Is there any roadmap or outlook on when to expect something similar to the discord "voice rooms" with autojoin coming to element? I'm not talking about native conference calls (which would be nice too), but about rooms where you can just join and start talking without having to manually start calls, invite people and approve joining ones.

33:25 I don't think it was quite answered why PGP wasn't used for authentication/encryption and it's quite a good question.

The testing tools the team needed to build, the React / Redux frontend improvements that were immediately rewarding, and the backend/frontend improvements to manage A/V streams subscriptions. Many interesting topics, thanks for sharing Saúl!

The service offered by Sipfront was badly needed in the industry. There is a large overhead in writing ad-hoc tests for SIP and WebRTC services, and being able to delegate it in a "Test as a Service" fashion is very valuable. The internal design is also remarkable, as it aggregates the best OSS tools available, and integrates well with the Homer/Sipcapture environment. Well done.

Dear Jami team! Please provide adequate support or clear-cut instructions to compile the build for Archlinux (maintainers simply abandon to deal with your application as they find it difficult to put together all required dependencies!!! - the link on your site leads to an out-of-date build). Arch is the main stream distro and lots of people would be grateful to you for the use of your really elegant and reliable application. Merci d'avance et bonne chance !

I've been a telecommunications programmer since 2000. I develope call routing in a system called Genesys (formerly known as Interactive Intelligence). They use a visual programming system called Handlers. I've always wanted to replicate some of their toolsteps into NodeRed. Would love to explore that with you.

Good session on a great product. Jitsi either self-hosted or "controlled-hosted" is way safer than most commercial products with high prices and vague or insufficient privacy. I use almost all well known video platforms but Jitsi is the only one which always works on any device. So, spread the word !!!
