This piece of music is right up there with the intro to Frank Sinatra's "It Was a Very Good Year" and Lee Hazelwood/Nancy Sinatra "Some Velvet Morning". Simply fabulous and soulful and brilliant!

@user-gy9iw6id1n Some Velvet Morning When I'm Straight. What a freaking incredible song. Hard to believe a country singer wrote that. It is one of the strangest and most darkly sexual songs I have ever heard. I have loved it since I first heard it in late 1967. I doubt if I ever make it 3 months without listening to it after I found it on KZbin several years ago. And when I listen I seldom listen to it fewer than five or six times , sometimes I might listen to it 20 times in a row. That song really got into my head. But then most things did in 1967. And speaking of country singers it's also hard to believe that Kenny Rogers did "just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in". And of course that was also 1967. There was a lot of back pedaling saying that it was actually a warning against doing drugs. Yeah right. While I love Just Dropped In a lot it does not have that strange otherworldliness as you find in Some Velvet Morning.
