Got it running! Did a hard reset by holding the scrolling knob and the power on button. I got a red screen that said critical electronic error, but then I powered the saw down and powered it back up and the problem went away. The Festool repair tech sounded surprised that I did that. He said that’s not an official way to do it. But it’s worked so all good.

All CSC SYS 50's sold in the US are still under the 3 year warranty since it only came out in September 2023. Just call Festool from the number on the saw.

Maybe festool has a „key-combination“ to reboot the groundsystem ? The dont want to open it for the publique , but here 😢 I now that printer has combinations for systemacces(and Cpap machines to). Or can you open the door and put the blade out? Maybe the it could works ??? But i think you have the same ideas ☺️ I had never the same problems by myone 🤔 🇨🇭🙋‍♀️ Silvia Let us now.

@JayBird913 yeah have you ever heard of phantom voltage? There is a reason that a loose neutral on an outlet will read 120v until you put it under load. Same with a fridge door coupling to a a voltage but has no true potential under load.

Can anyone explain me how can you cut a board of laminate 1m long and 250mm wide at 45° with clean cut on wider side?! Has anyone thought about that, because this saw does the 45° cuts in negative side compared to all classic saws, can anyone come with an answer. Thanks

@@M346VALY Definitely one of the drawbacks of this saw. But I have made lots of clean 45°cuts on it. Just make sure you press down all the way through the cut and tape the other side if you’re afraid of blowout. If somebody could make it aftermarket throat plate for this thing that would be great.

I’m a DIY’er, have a few tools and my battery system is Dewalt. For some years have looked obsessively at table saws trying to find the perfect one… ah… that one is too big, too small, noisy, weak, flimsy, overpowered, a toy, where do I fit that? This Festool rings all (most) the bells. If it was corded it would be an easier decision, but I’m struggling… it’s soooo desirable

This is awesome! I have not had the chance to try dovetails with our bit on my CNC. The other difference between our bit anf the Vortex is that the radius at the top on ours does NOT end with a horizontal cutting edge, but flairs up and out so even if the depth is a bit off, no lines will be left behind.
@jeremiahnielson

100%! It’s like the bit was meant for this operation. Absolutely perfect. To be honest, I haven’t even used it for the intended purpose. Only for building dovetail drawers on the CNC.😬. Haha! @Microjig
@Microjig 4 ай бұрын
Our bit does "flair" at the top. We have a patent on that feature. But if your set up is right, the horizontal cutting edge on the Vortex Bit should not be touching the stock either. With our desing, if the stock runs a bit thick, the cutter will not leave a telltale line along the edges of the joint.
@jeremiahnielson

There’s a little trial and error during set up but it’s just like setting up a dovetail jig. If you dive into deep, the it will be too loose and if you cut the pocket to shallow you’ll have a gap. I’ve been too busy to make a follow up video explaining the process but I will soon.
