Andrew, you are sowing seeds of destruction by singing this wicked-hearted music. The Bible says "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting." Galatians 6:7-8 Your name indicates a possible Plain background. I'm not saying go back to being Plain. I urge you to Follow Jesus -- not a religious group, but the Lord Himself, according to the Holy Bible. Use your manly strength to do honest work, and sing the songs of the Lord to bless others. That's far better than short-lived earthly fame.

Yes, he is talented, but may the Lord deliver him from a love of the world, the flesh and the devil. This kind of music is born from that. God gave him a talent; if Andrew uses his gift for God's glory he will know joy and blessing. But opening the door to the evil one only brings heartache.

I was raised on this kind of music, and saw the devastation the lifestyle brought to the singers, the listeners and the families on both sides. Andrew, if you love God, your family, and care about others -- don't sing this kind of music. Consider the end of people like George Jones, Merle Haggard, and the other "greats" of worldly music (whether Country or another style). Use your gift of music to honor the Lord Jesus Christ and point others to Him; and let your hands do honest work by day to provide for your family. Don't abandon them for weeks/months at a time doing concerts and putting everyone in the way of temptation and discouragement. Fame is a fleeting lie; don't follow it! Follow Jesus Christ, who gives satisfaction today and in the future. As a mother in Christ, I plead with you.

Jenny if I was to have to dodge everyone’s feeling then I’d also then not do any gospel songs when I’m out doing karaoke at bars. I’ve been able to raise over $20,000 with my music , 100% of which is donated to either water wells in Africa or local church fundraisers. You’re out trying to shove the Bible down peoples throats while you should be figuring out what your actual talents are and using them in ways that actually help others.
