I love both watches. And regardless which one you choose, Citizen still wins as it also owns Bulova.

A great review overall, your relaxed style and presentation are excellent. I was particularly impressed by your graphic on bevel vs chamfer, terms that are frequently used by other watch reviews who don't understand the difference! Some aspect that I would appricate you covering in the future would be a little more detail on the clasp - does it have micro adjust and if so how much? How is the finishing, is there branding on it or is it sterile? Also when giving a score to a quartz movement, it's ability to hit the markers is worth mentioning.

Just an amazing looking watch! A little advice. When you do the lug to lug measurement, if a watch has male endlinks do it from endlink to endlink. That is the true lug to lug as the endlinks stick out further than the case. Also I always find it helpful to also get the dimensions of the dial opening. That helps to see how big it will wear. Great video

I’ve been looking for a small seconds watch. I’ve had my eye on Nomos and Longines but I figure I’d give this a shot to see if a small seconds is for me. I just can’t decide on the blue or green version.

Timex in their EverQuest for affordability are offering a watch at an attractive price point but showing clear cost saving measures, I am afraid the titanium cases are going to be as blotchy as the ones with the Expedition North Titanium from years back.

I absolutely love the Bulova! Although the Citizen's dial is more striking. I just bought a gold Bulova, (due to be delivered in the next day or so), which I fell in love with when seeing a random ad for it the other day! I adore the thick taper on the bracelet that the Bulova has. I am not a fan of the big lugs on the 4 corners of watches like the Citizen, wheras the Bulover's lugs are smaller in comparison. Though I do like the thicker presidential style bracelet of the citizen. However, overall, the Bulova WINS!

It's really such a tough call! They're both really great value for money, but I got to say the bulovas movement is amazing, especially if it's something that you're going to be wearing to the office Monday through Friday. And if you want my opinion, the bracelet thickness is really good on the Bulova, not really sure if a thicker presidential style bracelet would really suit the watch ⌚ I hope you enjoy your new watch!!

which one you prefer most this model or super titanium automatic model?... and i have a 6 inch wrist so which will be better for my wrist?
@WatchReviewRewind
@WatchReviewRewind 4 күн бұрын
I really think that the super titanium model is just more practical, but it's definitely not as good looking. Both are going to wear a little on the larger side for a 6-in wrist, so I'd go with the one that you like the best 😁

Higher frequency in a crystal doesn't directly mean more precise timekeeping. It basically comes down to how stable an oscillation can you achieve, which doesn't automatically go with frequency. Crystals of much higher than 262 kHz are available and that doesn't mean they are more stable. It's just that Bulova decided to build around a 262kHz crystal, which also let them likely build a smoother sweep. They sourced a high grade crystal and temperature compensate. Seiko does it with a 32kHz temperature compensated crystal in their 9F series high accuracy quartz movements - that one does not sweep, making up for it with a really precise (nonwiggly deadbeat) second.

Citizen any damn day. Dial compared to tissot? tissot dial looks like a tissue paper to wipe that dispossable thrash powermatic calibre with a pallet fork and escape wheel made of plastic. it is the most cheapest swiss movement not even close to miyota. For bulova.. you cant compare quartz to automatic. for the design it looks classy... way tooo old classy.

After my Oceanus I got years ago - no more integrated bracelets gor me. At least the PRX has OEM & others rubber straps, movement & size choice - still not buying. CW has titanium ( for more £$€!), but I've got a C63 36mm. Citizen have improved their designs ( their weakest link) immensely- my dad's eco drive still going after 20+ years. I was going for the Fujitsubo but the size , no drilled lugs(!) & the black not having the bracelet deterred me, so I got the BM8180-62E instead ( not perfect the design & price are winners plus day / date is needed for holidays..).

@@WatchReviewRewind I own the OCW-S100 and consider it to be my perfect daily watch. True, the bracelet is integrated* (suspect you can easily cut the middle portion of a strap and replace it... it even has drilled lugs), but I would not replace it anyway as it is the most comfortable bracelet/strap I've ever had on a watch. You get 2 micro-adjustments on the clasp and half-links to size it just right. I am crazy about the looks of the watch and the movement requires no attention at all once you set it up if you live in an area that receives atomic signal. Finishing is better than the titanium Citizen it replaced, but it is something you can see only if you really look for it. Seconds hand hits each and every marker bang on.
