While that is a good haircut, who wants their hair in their eyes? I am a 68 year old woman and we like to see where we are going. Would never want my hair hanging in my eyes and that's all I see on these tutorials. Monday 6/24/2024 1:15 pm edt

That's more than long enough to tuck behind an ear, style so it curls above the eye, or blow back for additional volume on the top of the head. Also, it often looks much different on a dynamic moving person than a mannequin head.

@@eininw I don't want to tuck my hair behind my ears and I don't have time to always curl the top or blow it back. I will stick with bangs or a clip.

Simple solution: get a different haircut. This one is not for you.

@robinhardister1908 I personally feel like bangs take way more time to style and manage than any of the options I mentioned. Out of bed or the shower, they're defying gravity in every direction but where I need them to go. To each their own hair type and priorities. That's why haircuts are so personal and communication is just as important as technique in a salon.

@@eininw Well, I am a hairdresser and I don't have any problems managing and styling bangs. And yes, communication and technique are important in the salon. Pictures can help in deciding what works for a client.

Beautiful well explained as usual. Would this be a good shape for a fine thinner haired client who wants to wear it straight who has a longer face shape? Or is it probably too much layering?

Wow. Wow, and Wow. Some how your most recent video prior to this found its way into my feed and automatically played while I was painting. I listened to it, then viewed the first video, and so on to gain perspective. So many thoughts but will withhold comments on older videos throwing my two cents in currently. My opinion only; Stop immediately posting anything regarding therapy. I believe your intent is potentially help others, but this cannot be the case while focusing in yourself first. I caution you that you will regret doing so and advise that you wait or decide not to share post therapy at all. I literally watched all videos first to evaluate any intentional fictitious content to drive a blossoming blog about a mental health journey. Your self reflection appears genuine. I have not read any comments posted, so I hope I'm not repeating anyone when I suggest a large part of your friendship concerns appear to be self imposed. Based on your own words, moving around alot in your youth did not allow for many, if any, lasting friendships. This is clearly a large catalyst leading to your current circumstance, HOWEVER, it's not what your saying throughout the 7 or 8 videos, but what your not owning within your own behavior which is WHAT efforts did you take to stay in touch with any friends made while moving one place or another. A common theme that stuck out to me is your inability or interest on any effort on your part to make the effort to keep in touch with past friends and/or your inability to connect with anyone at the gym. You keep repeating that you enjoy your alone time so much so, I began to wonder your interest level in engaging anyone new. I don't see that as a social anxiety issue more than some may see it as you being stuck up or at a minimum, internally your telling yourself that the person probably isn't worth your effort. I also took note of you mentioning that even after meeting up with most folks for the first time, you have inter-dialogue about how they fell short of your expectation. That my friend is not a social anxiety issue, that's simply acting like a dick. Sure some of that behavior may be rooted in the fear of rejection stemming back to moving around alot, but in general , it's a dick move. People do things they really want to do. If you really wanted to strike up a conversation with a gym mate, you simply would. The reason why this is true for most is because when we say hello to people in the world, we have a sincere interest in that person enough to say something. I'm suggesting that you save money on therapy for the moment. Identify some peeps you genuinely wouldn't mind knowing, ponder on why, then simply speak them. If it's coming from a place if genuine interest, the words will be organic and will be natural outgoing and received that way. I think your anxiety is nothing more than a general lack of interest in the potential candidates around you or the effort required to maintain such a relationship outside your wife. Not being negative or harsh, just how your messaging came across. It's not you, it's your ability to trust. Something else you’re not into at the moment. Best of luck!!!

I’m a customer and can never tell a stylist how to cut my hair! I can show a picture but it’s still not enough. I have very fine hair and my ideal cut is very similar to this, but I like another section added in for a softly layered bang parted to the left. How do you add that in? Want a picture?? 😊

I am thrilled to see this so that I can communicate better with my beautician. I am so afraid of a bad cut… or just not what I wanted, which I consider a bad cut. But-that’s my fault if I don’t communicate well and it’s the beautician’s fault if the cut ignores what I asked for.

I don't like those type of scissors, they don't work on most people's hair. They are for thinning your hair, and I think they ruin your hair. My uncle always got his hair cut with those scissors and you could see every cut, and he had thin fine hair, and it was thick too, so it really showed up. It made his hair look bad. So just to let you know, there not worth the money!

You point-cut too much. That is not nice or luscious for the look. No wonder people feel their hair has split ends. They feel like their hair is thinning when really, their hair is all thinned out by the hairdresser.
