Is she on social media? It’s hard to come across English speaking Shia sisters.

I converted at 18 im now 35 ...have been a sunni in most of my conversion process ...lately i have been reading zaidi and imami traditons..i have a copy of mizanul hikmah.. i dont see any real differences between the hadiths in mizanul hikmah and those that ghazali puts in his ihya...other than maybe the ones about wilayah...i really feel like ethical islam or tsawwuf is ultimately the most clear path to Allah

I like the fact which is being acknowledged now in 21st Centuries that The Arabs and most other nations prior to the Islamic advances on mathematics don’t know how to calculate the number of years and all other related methods.Except for a few groups of intellect people from the Greeks countries and Indians continent.

Saiyad Nizamuddin ( who is a remarkable scholar) makes some really excellent points regarding Ibn Arabi's "Shi'ism". Shi'i ideas were definitely present in al-Andalus even among non-Shi'is such as Ibn Qasi whose magnum opus Ibn Arabi did comment. Also excellent point regarding modern hawzah students and their complete lack of education!!!

My theory is that she was 15-16 when she was married and 18-19 when it was consummated. This is based on history which give her conversion to Islam with her father. Then she was to be left behind to get married when he went to Ethiopia because she couldn’t handle the journey. The husband called it off to humiliate Abu Bakr. -At any time period nobody would leave a 6 yr old to get married but you could leave a 15-16 year old. Then after Hijra she gets lost while accompanying the army and comes home with an 18 year old soldier which sparks a scandal. -what can a 9 year old do to help an army and why would it cause a scandal if the 9 yr old got lost and came home with a soldier. But yeah a 19 year old getting “lost” would cause a scandal When the Prophet passed away Ayesha helped usher Abu Bakr into power. Could a 19 year old influence grown men to pick her father or even understand the political situation? But I think a 30 year old woman could. Ayesha was outspoken leader against Uthman and Ali and Talha and Zubair battle hardened veterans 60 year olds would differ to her if she was 50 that makes sense Last Abdul Ibn Zubair considered her a mother if he was 35 and she was 50 again it’s enough of an age gap to make sense.

Very interesting comment about the 3 factions Hashimi led by Ali and his Umawayi led by Abu Sufyans son and last the Abu Bakrs led by his grandson Abdullah and his brothers.
