I have a 2020 Tacoma I bought brand new in July '20. Since it was during Covid, the dealership could not give me their usual tour of the vehicle. So, I missed out on all the features of that would have been normally showcased during their typical dog and pony show. Plus, who really reads the manual, right? lol... This video blew my mind! I had zero clue about all the backseat features, but I will use them religiously from now on. Thank you for making this video!

The plastic on the underside is very slick for some things. I would think if you don’t cover the plastic your dog would be sliding around. Try that and see.

My favorite was learning I can turn off the head unit screen and keep my music playing! I can’t stand a bright screen when I’m driving down a dark back road or out in the brush. It makes you lose way too much night vision imho

I have a 2018 SR access cab. It acts like a complete dog until you press the "ECT PWR" button. I guess the engineers were too serious to call it the "GO FASTER" button, but it's basically a "sport mode" for the I4, if you could even call it that. Really useful for cruising on the freeway or passing a vehicle. All the features, except for the dash brightness, were either known to me or didn't apply to my model. Still, great list! I love hunting for all the useful little features Toyota hides in my trucks.

Can you please make a video with your dog back there and you driving around i want to see if the canopy is actually non slip cause the one I got claimed that and my dog slides all over it(those wondering it's the carhartt seat cover it's very slippery for dogs but water resistant).

Looking for a running board that lights the steps at night. Also, that bedliner not held down by anything might just fly into the road behind you during certain wind conditions.

My baddie has owned three tacomas and didn’t know something I showed him that you can add to your list. In the bed on both sides there are cut outs so you can lay 2x6 across and the you can slide in Sheetrock or plywood or create a split bed

1st, these are not hidden features, if they were, you could not see them… 2nd, half of these items have been on the Tacoma since 2006 and maybe older; I only know because my 06 has some of these items. If you don’t know what the feature is used for and can’t figure it out, maybe you just should stick to riding a bicycle because the rest of use on the road should not have to deal with morons. Lastly, your video was good and informative on how to use the features though.

I thoroughly dislike the lighting brightness control. Why not a “wheel” like other vehicles have?

Leather seats do NOT have the pocket for seat belt latches.

Tacoma is the model! Toyota added these features to the Tacoma. Rather than Tacoma did xyz to the truck.

I didn’t know of the gas cap holder, the rear headrest holder and the fact the bed light stays on for only 20 minutes. The rest I figured out. Also, the idea of leaving the back seat down for better storage. Thanks!!!!
