This is how I got through COVID. I’m the only person I know who lost 50lbs during COVID. People ask me what my secret is and I think “crippling stress, anxiety, and my nervous habit of pacing became compulsive…”

My husband and I love Beartooth ❤️ Try to go every year but COVID has sure put a damper on that dream for the past 2 years. Praying we can go again this year 🙏

It's a good place. More remote. Less crowded.

@@timothygenaw2199 It sure is. We love it. We usually stay in a cabin in Clark, WY and take a day drive up through Beartooth. Haven't been the past 2 years because someone in the family either had COVID or was just getting over it. I pray we can go this year. 🙏 I enjoy your videos.

One of my favorite parks, but it has gotten so busy recently. You captured it beautifully. Angels Landing is absolutely stunning.

Thanks again for watching. I went in early March and found the weather very pleasant with no significant crowds. Parking spots in the valley did get filled by 10am but it was still very reasonable and easy.

That was great. I really enjoyed it, especially since I learned to ski on the Big Mountain... back in 1975. Haven't been back since, but it was a joy to watch the video, and try to remember.

Thanks Alaskan Amblers. It was so cold when I filmed this, the go pro batteries wouldn't work unless I placed them on hand warmers. Below zero temps. But so clear and beautiful, I could see Flathead lake in the distance and the peaks of Glacier National Park in the other direction.

Hiking to the Colorado River and back in one day is never recommended and may have severe risks and health consequences. Know your abilities and be experienced. Carry everything you need to survive in all weather conditions, abundant food and water. Plan on 12+ hours and hiking in the dark. The climb back up is about 5000 feet over 8 miles and is very difficult, 16 miles total. The first few miles from the rim are icy in winter. Foot traction devices are not optional. Dress in layers as the temperature in the canyon is much warmer than at the rim.

@@timothygenaw2199 I check up on your videos once in a while. I like the nature shots. The video about the 3 victims of the murders featured in the movie "Boys don't cry" was so sad. I can't stand to think of such cruel and evil people and it's very disturbing. But the driving and the mountains are very good.
