Approx what would be the size of the area your writing on with that particular mirror( (LxW)?
@lorenaluna776 Жыл бұрын
I’m having trouble with my Decocolor marker! When I to go back to thicken some of my letters it takes off the acrylic from when I first wrote it out and you can see all the strokes so it doesn’t look clean. This happens even if I work on one letter at a time. Does the acrylic ever rub for you when you go back to thicken letter?

What type of maker are you using? The sharpie markers I definitely agree look very streaky! Try the Decocolor, it’s my go to favorite! If you need any help DM me I’m happy to❤❤

Watching your project and your way to give back to the businesses in the community was truly beautiful to watch! Your work, your spirit - truly inspiring. My goal is to work my paint pens to do lettering that as awinspiring as yours. Sidenote:I'm impressed by your freehand on those large surfaces - I'm a sketch it first kind of girl, lol. I know this is a late response, but I found your page and love what you do.

Thank you for this tutorial! One question: when you wrote each name, then you pulled off the horizontal tape in the column to the vertical tape, did you use an exacto knife to get such a clean cut to the vertical tape you did to separate the columns? I watched the video a number of times thought I missed a step.
@AnteaAmorosoArtistry Жыл бұрын
That’s so funny you mention that, I never noticed how exact I rip tape😂 I must have done it so often over the years it became easy to make it so exact! I would use my other finger as a guide to rip or even a ruler would help too! If it’s not exact when ripping I find that easier to pull up from when moving on to the next column ❤

What size mirror do you recommend for about 150 guests with 18 tables?
@AnteaAmorosoArtistry Жыл бұрын
I would say around a 30x40 mirror or larger for that amount of people, depending how it’s organized I would suggest grouping couples together to help save on lines if needed ❤

I have watched this video a million times 😊 It is amazing. Question:when you say 64 lines, how many lines are you allowing for your table numbers?
@AnteaAmorosoArtistry2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Mary!! So happy you love it!! I use one line of space and then one line for my table header, but i usually take up some space from that line above me for taller letters :)

Beautiful job and tips! How far in advance would you say is safe to get it completed? If a week before the wedding will the paint hold or start to wear off?
@AnteaAmorosoArtistry2 жыл бұрын
That’s plenty of time! My paint never wears off even for years later which is crazy! The only thing that would get in the way is anything scratching the ink, otherwise it is safe!

So efficient! Thank you for sharing so many of the tips that I know come from a lot of experience! Do you ever have issues with the Decocolor pen not writing properly writing on a standing mirror? Sharpies sometimes stop flowing at that angle. Do you depress during the process to get the paint "flowing" again?
@AnteaAmorosoArtistry2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Macie! I actually love the Decocolor MORE because it does not need as many presses! But I do find that I depress often out of habit, but that the ink never over flows or spills like a sharpie does making it easier to write at this angle :) Appreciate you watching and hoping to share more!

Oh I am SO happy you found this helpful!! Like I said it has become second nature to me so I was hoping that I explained it all clearly enough for others to try themselves :) If it is intimidating to try on a large scale you can always try it on a smaller mirror first but I promise, once you get the hang of it you will LOVE it!!
