get a kraken SDR and triangulate his transmission. You can narrow it down to a foot or two

If the guy is really a licensed ham operator what is he doing on 11 meters,is he next door and trying to use the 10 meter band and your power is interfering with his QSO or is he just someone else tryin to talk on 11 meters with illegal radio and power like you are doing. Dont get me wrong, I am not saying you cant do what you want with your equipment but there must be many guys in your area that are doing the same thing with the Galaxy,Stryker and other of that type of radio even stock C.B. radios with an amp can produce the same as you are doing. So does this guy do the same to them??. Both of you are equally in the wrong. Best solution is put on your compromise hat and have a talk with the guy,seems you know who he is so the ball is in your court.

I wouldn’t protest too much rubber ducky. You’re operating illegally. Start by using a type accepted radio.
@concrete981Ай бұрын
in the early 80's a store called Jamesway was selling cb radios and one (kraco) was hooked up to a 5/8 wave on the roof. we tied a rubber band around the microphone and put it in a drawer that had a lock with the key still in it. we threw the key in the trash and set it to channel 19 (truckers channel). the carrier (dead transmitting air) was on for like 8 hours. people were so pissed.

So... you are using a 100W radio on a CB frequency, and you wonder why someone is messing with you. Perhaps you have a tower and a 6-8 element Yagi antenna with 15-18 DB gain and you are blowing his socks off. Just saying...

Get your Ham License, Get out of the Ghetto that has become CB radio. With some worth while studying and taking often pre tests in the books and free online pre testing I know you can do it well enough. The FCC tests I believe are to keep the idiots, bullies, and riff raff off the air legally. You never have to test again, unless to upgrade, and it is cheap. You got a TOP NOTCH radio, why waste it on the CB BANDS?

I totally understand about your problems with that asshole who deliberately ques you out I've had similar problems myself with certain 11 meters people saying nasty comments to me and using foul language and telling myself to get off the band and everything I've had it all and that guy who's messing around on your frequency is most probably jellous and dislikes people using the 11 meters SSB you get idiots like him everywhere CB or amateur radio bands I myself would report this person to the proper authorities and get him a visit that's what I'd do personally but it's entirely up to you how you handle it OK. Thanks and best 73's for now cheers. Stephen M3SNV 73's.

It probly ain't a ham radio operator . You are dealing with an angry CB operator that lives in your city heard you talking on a clear sounding radio icon and you ruffled his feathers so he's going key on AM block your reception. I know everyone out there is talking on CB on SSB trying to enjoy the hobby but there is no backing from FCC on CB. But your video may be helpful if other people your way get jammed . Take a drive see who's got antennas up antrins, v5/8 macos , sirio's Ect . Yes there's. Lots Ham's around they just want talk radio and no nonsense . Getting your gam radio licenses is one step but you enjoy CB ops you may have wait a long time for this guy to go away! Take it Mobil ralk yourself on ssb with walkie talkie drive around pull antenna when he keys you or get help from someone in cell phone driving around a CB buddy you will get in top of signal you know that's about it .

@@NotRobot574 No, they do not. There is no 11 meter ham band. Hams work 10 meters with their voice portion beginning at 28,300. TLDR: no one cares your illegal radio set up is being jammed, and because you're operating illegally yourself you have absolutely no ground to stand on. This is a case of one criminal messing with another criminal, neither of you are victims. It's transmit power is NOT the "sole reason" it's not approved, please educate yourself. The reason that radio ISN'T ALLOWED is mostly because it has an unlocked VFO, meaning you can "transmit between CB channels" and talk in places that are not legally meant for you to talk on. CB radios HAVE to have "channels", otherwise it's not a CB radio - and if it's not a CB radio, it's illegal to use it on the CB band. YOU ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT SOMEBODY "VIOLATING FEDERAL LAW" WHEN YOU YOURSELF SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE THAT RADIO ON THAT FREQUENCY. That's like a crack head calling the police on his dealer because the product wasn't good enough. The fact you uploaded this thinking you're a victim in some way is downright hilarious to me. Think about all the LEGAL stations you are "jamming" without even knowing it because they're on 12 watts and you're on 100 or whatever.

i gotta say the guy is quite a bitch to go out of his way to jam you on 11m. the radio is modified and what not blah blah blah but hes doing the exact same thing by going down there and just transmitting a tone. even if you were running a standard cb or a export it doesnt excuse his behavior. childish as all hell. im a ham as well as a cb er its all good fun in my eyes. but the people that go out of there way to be annoying or malicious on a radio of all things it just blows my mind. must not have anything else to do.
