i know scotty and the wrestlmaina comment is appropriate. between the time he served with phill cross and the poet voices and either filling in for his dad at what used to be won by one or joining what eentually became triumphant, he was actually considering being a wrestler. he's actually a pretty big guy or was at that time. he's taller than me by quite a bit (am 5'9) and back then he was probably a solid 225 or 230. apparently his mom didn't like the idea and then around same time he either took over lead for dad at won by one or they formed triumphant (not sure which). for a few years phil retired and i don't think he was planning on coming back (but never heard why as he's only in his mid 60's now i think) and that kind of left scotty high and dry since he'd only been with them a year or 2. then clayton loses the won by one job, and the rest is history. ironically i don't even think scotty sang a note in public till he was in his 20's. church he went to had pretty much done away with youth choir, and don't think he'd ever sang much in the kids choirs either, and then starts teaming up with 2 of the 3 music minister's daughters occasionally and well maybe i should be a singer. kind of weird stuff to know when you saw this kid grow up and see what he became.

We saw them in person at least two times when they came to East Wenatchee, WA. Incredibly talented and humble. I knew Tracy hadn't been well for a number of years but just heard yesterday that he died a week ago. Mrs. Sharon Dart and the rest of the family, and BJ Speer have been through a lot with the loss of Stony and now Tracy. We know they're in heaven but as humans we're still sad. I'm so thankful for their legacy.
