Oh come on. This is passive-aggressive bullshit and needs to be nipped in the bud. Tippy-toeing around it just perpetuates it. Confront the person, in person, professionally and respectfully. And if they retaliate, escalate the issue to HR.

I was on a weeks training course which was also part of the interviewing process. They said that by the end of the week we will know and have an assignment. However on Wednesday they gave everyone one an assignment and didn’t even give me a one to one to inform me what was happening. I asked them on Thursday and they told me I have to do a really good presentation on Friday in order to get the job.. I got the job but now I’m not sure after how that made me feel.

That would make someone feel like the odd man out, and like they were “less than”, right from the beginning of their career with that company. It forever puts them in a one-down position with respect to their colleagues, since it was done publicly.

Not a good example of how to deal with a problem work. "Take the high road"? That doesn't exist today, especially working with women.

I was brought up to “take the high road”, “be the bigger person”, “just ignore it”. I think restraint is perceived as weakness, and makes you a target for this behavior.

Just came across an in-depth s y n o p s i s of the world behind Apple as a company. Apple doesn’t thrive off of being a brand but being a lifestyle. From their phone designs to store designs, everything is kept simple (on the front end). Their store designs have a earthly feel, with open glass top windows to trees in them to give it that environmental feel, the store design is also set up as a museum, to the customer this feels as if the items on display are “world of art”. Apple as a brand focuses on storytelling, what is it that you as a consumer doing/going to do with our products? It’s all about the customer. You will never see Apple sell anything cheap whilst beating out any competitors because they deliver and over deliver on their products, with something new coming and upgraded coming all the time, they have people on a loop to see what they created. When marketing the iPod, Apple had a line “1000 songs in your pocket” this was before it was even named the iPod, Apple sold ideas not products. If you listen to any of Jobs’ speeches, you know he was big with keeping it simple, to a point where a 5 year old could understand and recognise its br and. He goes into depth about product marketing and selling: “we don’t want to sell our products to show what it does, or if it’s better than xyz” “something as simple as got milk for a milk commercial sky rocketed their sales”. Down to the logo design, it went from a complex looking logo to just a simple outline of an Apple, even today the theory behind the logo is that maybe it related to Newtons law of gravity, when in fact it was to distinguish that the logo was not a cherry or an orange, but an Apple! Going back to sum up as a whole, the whole branding is an experience from top to b0ttom, it’s the selling of an idea from start to finish, you don’t have a outstanding USP if you don’t have this, creating value for customers, people buy because of the message and person behind the brand itself and putting the consumer as the forefront of the product in form of storytelling - it’s a beautiful thing

One of the mean girl crew at my job wound up having a disabled child. Now she will spend the rest of her life tormented about him being mistreated and excluded. The ringleader of the mean girl crew sent s e x u a l photos and text messages to a coworker she was involved with. His child forwarded them to his ex-wife, who distributed them throughout our workplace.

Ofter times there can be a slight ST elevation in v1 in RV IM so 12 lead ECG can identify RV IM without the need of right Vent Leads. The same for v2 which can identify posterior wall STEMI if there is a Mirror image inthat lead( ST Depression) always remember to look for mirror images while analysing ECG🙏🏼.

Does this officially count as work ostracism? Basically, I don't get along so well with my coworkers. They don't talk to me when I'm around, quiet. They don't invite me to their table when I eat alone. They're each other's friends/conversationalists. I don't *_think_* they mean to leave me out, let alone they're bad people. I don't think they're thinking of me at all during their fun. Of course, it might be _my_ fault. I have occasionally said unfiltered things before, so _perhaps_ I permanently made a bad first impression. I have ASD. This one girl is a great example. Seems to like everyone else but me. Oh, the fun, the playful sarcasm/joking, sneaking up on a guy who likes horror films and exchanging in Australian accents. When she talks to _me,_ she's pretty serious and, AFAIC, subtly firm or annoyed. She chatted with another worker while driving us to a venue; when it was just us two later, nothing. Now, I can't remember _what_ I said the first few days/weeks we met, but _perhaps_ it was the time I mentioned facemasks to a teen worker. Asked him if his school had to wear them, told him how they ironically make my nose feel congested when they're supposed to be protecting us. Not that I was going into depth about the sensitive topic; I was brief and casual. The girl was basically all, "Okay, John, that's enough. Let's not talk about that." Yesterday, she sounded a bit annoyed about my collecting things for a room that already had them. Didn't exactly sound *casual and respectful.* I snapped, "Did I do something wrong?" She was like _"What?_ No. I was just..." yadda yadda, I have to look into the room to see what's already there...something like that. But you know, it's hard to tell whether her information is matter-of-factly or stern and "anti-John." We were very quiet around each other that morning, and of course, she chatted merrily with the others the night shift. Is this a work clique?

I've been treated this way several times at several different jobs/trainings. You are self reflective and conscious. I walked out of several jobs because it is so hurtful and unfair. I go in with enthusiasm and 100% and it like they hate that and have to tear me down. I have found the exact opposite running my own cleaning business. I'm treated so wonderfully. I have so much work that I don't have to work for jerks.

Psychological and reputational bullying is terrible and women are very proficient at it by using rumors to ostracize someone they dont like. The biggest issue is that managers and Hr dont do shit about it because the person being ostracized usually lacks evidence to show. There's no way to prove targeted bullying when everyone denies whats going on with fear of repercussions from both colleagues and the company, so the ostracized workers loses allies increasing the levels of ostracism and making him/her an even better target for persistent bullying.
